  The tour and beach were wonderful! Such a beautiful island. Magens Bay beach is busy but a great beach for swimming with sea turtles. Mountain top has a great view but was very busy. Transportation was in a typical St Thomas taxi which made the tour guide difficult to hear. Hamblet was a punctual and helpful guide.

• Ride to beach with few stops

  The tour was easy to find after getting off ship. It was basically a ride to the beach and few places to take some nice pics. You could not hear what the driver was saying about the area while riding in the open air bus because the intercom on bus was quite faint. We stopped at mountain top and that was ok. A store for souvenirs, you can get a daiquiri, and take pic overlooking Magen’s Bay.

  Hamblet was a fantastic guide! He was patient with our questions and very knowledgeable. Magans Bay was beautiful.

  This would have been a great experience if we had had a good driver. Our driver, Robert, was arrogant and rude. First, he did not want to pick us up at the time that was previously established by the tour operator. On our way to the cruise ship dock to pick up the other passengers on our tour, he did not point out a single highlight of the island, such as the castles, 99 Steps or Emancipation Park. He instead proceeded to give us a lecture on the importance of communication, of all things. When we arrived at Mountain Top, we were rushed through it with less than 30 minutes to spend there. I had to throw half of my world famous banana daiquiri in the trash because there was no time to finish it before getting back in Robert’s vehicle where a very prominent sign was posted that no food or drink was allowed in the vehicle. Much more time was allotted at Magen’s Bay than in the tour operator’s description, I suspect so that Robert would have time to complete another job. When he arrived to pick us up he proceeded to lecture us that we had better not get any sand in his vehicle. It is an island and we were on the beach, but he did not want sand in the car??? Omg… Lastly, he spent a considerable amount of time during the drive on his phone, loudly talking to an individual regarding repairs and trade in value on another of his vehicles. On the return back to our hotel, he did not speak a single word to either myself or my partner, apparently considering that his job was now done. The island is beautiful and the sights are amazing, if you have the right driver. Robert is not that driver and I would not recommend this tour in the chance that you would be assigned him as the driver.

  Hamblet was a great tour operator. Very clear instructions and easy to communicate via WhatsApp. We decided after the beach at Magens Bay to take a taxi back. Aw just WhatsApp him told him the plan and we were on our way.

  The views were good, but getting to them was a horrible winding road. The “best”banana daiquiri” in the word shop was just a big store with what everyone else has. Magens beach was beautiful though. We should have stayed in the city itself.

  We were seated in an open air mini bus. Our driver Hamblet, was very personable. He took family photos for all. He was dependable and right on time.

  DO NOT RENBT CHAIRS from beach staff, they are thieves. Paid for a full day and when we had our kids try to sit in them for the afternoon they took our family out and said you had to pay per person not for the chair. TERRIBLE STAFF

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable Island Tour – Luen is Incredible! If you’re visiting St. Thomas, look for Luen’s bright yellow truck, you won’t miss it! Luen gave us an amazing, comfortable, and informative tour. He’s knowledgeable, respectful, and makes sure everyone has a great experience. Unlike other tours that cram people into a truck, he only puts four people per row, which makes the ride so much more enjoyable. He picked us up downtown and even dropped everyone off at the cruise ship afterward which was so convenient! Along the way, we stopped at multiple scenic locations, one was The Mountain Top, where the banana daiquiris are famous and delicious 🍹. Luen made sure everyone had time for photos and to enjoy the sights. This location was overlooking the breathtaking Magens Bay. As if the tour wasn’t enough, we would also like to thank Luen for his service as a 32-year career firefighter! This tour was fun, comfortable, and memorable from start to finish.   This was a great experience. The tour was very interesting and the driver knowledgeable. If you want a great beach day, Magens was fabulous. The banana daiquiri At the top that of the Mountain is wonderful. We Highly recommend this excursion!
