we pick up you from 4 different places: place rcif; bab boujloud; place batha; new city near hotel barcelo everyday between 7:30am to 8am we start our trip at 8h am we can t wait because we must start our journey early and profit average atlas views and stops plus 7 hours driving .

Azrou Cedar Forest

It is the most known place in the city and where the tourist activity of the area is centered. This forest is the living reflection of the passing of the centuries and only until a few years ago it was the place where the famous Gran Cedar Gouraud, the largest millenary cedar in the area, was located. In this forest you can find souvenir and gift shops and the well-known market stalls with peanuts. The reason for these stalls are the hundreds of monkeys of Gibraltar that live in this area. The tourists spend a little of their day playing with them and giving them peanuts as a reward.

The Ziz River winds through Errachidia, Erfoud and Rissani, creating a massive oasis. The region is known as the Tafilelt, which Moroccans regard as the 17th century birthplace of the current dynasty ruling the country, the Alaouites. The Tafilelt also is precious to Moroccan history as the site of Sijilmassa, a city constructed as a port for the trans-Saharan caravan trade in the 8th century, particularly for the gold that enriched successive Moroccan dynasties. Sijilmassa was attacked many times and eventually was destroyed in the 14th century.

All very well, they were very attentive with us and were accompanying us and recommending Top-rated places. The trip to the desert became very enjoyable and there we went to a camp that was also all great.

Hassan was very friendly and helpfull for arranging the trip to Sahara desert, which was one of the best experiences in my life. The trip getting to Sahara is long but is totally worth it and we did some nice stops to rest, to take pics, etc. When we arrive at the Sahara desert, we were given the option for a camel ride to get to the tents, which I did. The view from the camels is amazing and they are very friendly fellas. At the tents, we were received by very nice and educated hosts who made a great dinner and played music for us. We also danced with them. Next day in the morning I woke up to see one of the best sunrises in my life. Then we had a nice breakfast and left back to Fes. Totally recommended! the price is very fair for what you get.
