  After coming across Tarek on Facebook advertising his star wars tours, i wanted to visit... I am so glad i did, we booked our flights from Manchester to Djerba and Tarek sorted the rest. Our guide was called Lassad, such a knowlegable guide with absolute passion love for his country and star wars. He met us at the airport and our 4 day tour began... We visited filming sites and took in the amazing views of Tunisia, while Lassad told us all about the many cultures and history of the amazing country. I relived my childhood at the filming sites, my love of starwars has passed to my son so together we had a blast while my wife came along for the ride.. lol We drove across the country visiting all the filming sites, different towns and cities with many different cultures. We drove quads through the desert and rode camels, taste many different traditional dishes and met some amazing people, all were so very friendly.   We had an awesome time with Tarek. He personalized our tour to allow us to also visit Dougga and El Jem before we began the Star Wars portion of the tour. All of the places we went were awesome. It was a cool way to see a lot of Tunisia that we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Tarek was very kind, thoughtful and always made sure we were comfortable, fed, and had water.   I had an amazing experience on this tour and would highly recommend it—especially for solo travelers! From start to finish, everything was smooth, well-organized, and honestly exceeded my expectations. What really stood out to me was how flexible and accommodating my guide was. Traveling alone, I appreciated that he adjusted the pace based on my interests and made sure I had enough time at each location to explore, take photos, and really enjoy the experience. The places we visited were honestly really cool to see in person, especially if you’re a Star Wars fan. It didn’t feel like one of those tours where you’re just being rushed from stop to stop, which I really liked. I also felt totally comfortable the whole time, which can be a concern when you’re traveling alone. He was easygoing and made the experience feel relaxed instead of formal. Overall, I’m really glad I did this tour—it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. Definitely worth it if you’re in the area.

  We opted for a 4-day tour with our tarek guide who knew how to transport us in its various mountainous landscapes and sand desert a total immersion with iconic stops on the various Star War shoots. Quality and quantity of homemade meals. Different sleeps every night an experience that makes us enchanted Thank you tarek for your support and your knowledge about the world and the life of rich exchanges.   Taria was great - he took us to lots of Star Wars sites, we had a camel ride through the desert and stayed in a camp. Super fun for me and my 7 year old son

• Spectacular visit - much more than Star Wars!

  I had a one week solo tour with Tarek Maali as my guide. It was not intended as a Star Wars tour as I was doing research for a novel, but we checked out a couple of locations in Djerba and the Ksar in Medenine. My main focus was on desert farming and water management systems. Tarek was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. We explored cisterns, visited the Arid Institute, went down a terracotta mine and visited a spectacular salt flat at sunset. The absolute highlights of the trip for me was a night camping in the Sahara and a tour of the three tier oasis farm at Gábes. I also recommend experiencing the ferry from Djerba to the mainland but try to avoid peak traffic or plan for a long wait. Tarek knew people everywhere we went and could talk at length about history, folk law, farming systems and of course Star Wars location.
