2-Day Star Wars Tour from Djerba – In the Footsteps of Star Wars Day 1: Djerba → Matmata → Sidi Driss → Tozeur (Star Wars Highlights) Pick-up from your accommodation in Djerba at 7:00 AM. Drive to Matmata to visit the famous Hotel Sidi Driss, which served as Luke Skywalker’s home in Episode IV – A New Hope. Continue to the Tozeur region to explore: Sidi Bouhlel Canyon (Star Wars Canyon), where key scenes from A New Hope were filmed, including the capture of R2-D2 and sequences with Luke and Obi-Wan. Ong Jmel (Camel Rock), used in The Phantom Menace as part of the Podrace surroundings and in Attack of the Clones. The Mos Espa set, one of the best-preserved Star Wars filming sites. At sunset, stop at Chott El Jerid to visit the Lars Homestead Igloo, where the famous binary sunset scene from Episode IV – A New Hope was filmed. Dinner and overnight stay in a guest house in Tozeur. ---

Day 2: Tozeur → Tataouine Region → Djerba After breakfast, depart for the Tataouine region to discover additional Star Wars locations: Ksar Hadada, one of the main filming sites for the Mos Espa slave quarters (The Phantom Menace). Ksar Ouled Soltane, a spectacular Berber granary that was scouted by the Star Wars production team but ultimately not used in filming. Ksar Medenine, used in The Phantom Menace for additional Mos Espa slave quarters scenes. Enjoy a traditional lunch with locals in Tataouine. Return to Djerba in the late afternoon.
