Join us for a magical evening away from the city lights, where nature and silence create the perfect setting. We take you to a secluded shelter in Vikran, surrounded by snowy mountains and coastal wilderness. A cozy bonfire, delicious food, and the hunt for the northern lights await.
We pick you up in Tromsø and drive 40 minutes south before starting a 30-minute scenic hike to the shelter. Along the way, we look for animal tracks, as lynx, wolverines, eagles, and hares roam nearby.
At the shelter, we gather around a crackling bonfire, enjoying warm drinks and tasty food cooked over the flames. You can even try making traditional Norwegian campfire bread.
If the sky is clear, you’ll have the chance to witness the northern lights dancing above, creating an unforgettable Arctic experience.
After an evening of wonder, we hike back and return to Tromsø, leaving you with lasting memories.
Feel the crisp air and leave the city life behind for a while. Learn to relax within in the nature!

Vikran is a quiet, coastal wilderness surrounded by snow-covered mountains and untouched Arctic nature. Here, travelers will experience the serenity of the North, far from city lights, making it an ideal location for northern lights viewing. The area is rich in wildlife, with chances to spot tracks from lynx, wolverines, hares, and other animals in the snow. A cozy, sheltered camp provides the perfect setting for a bonfire, warm drinks, and traditional outdoor cooking. With minimal light pollution, Vikran offers a breathtaking view of the starry sky and, on clear nights, the magical dance of the northern lights.

5.00As a nice detail during our time in Tromsø, we wanted to do something typical for a local there. We are from Barcelona so Tromsø itself is very different from what we are used to, which made it especially interesting to have a local as our guide. From the very beginning he made us feel welcome and well taken care of. You could tell from the start that the guide was enthusiastic and motivated, which was really nice and that energy really carried over to us! It is very impressive to think that they only started touring not very long ago, but still managed everything so well. The pace of the tour was pleasant and very manageable. We ended the experience around a campfire, which was super cozyyy☺️ This was overall such a nice experience

5.00Amazing experience hiking just outside of Tromso. We were collected from our hotel and after a short ride we put on our snow shoes and began the hike. We had a fire with food and learnt lots about Tromso. Even though it was a little cloudy we had a great view of the city and had an excellent guide. Thoroughly recommend this tour! Thank you!!

5.00We had a fantastic time on the tour the two guides were extremely knowledgable and made the experience super fun. We walked about 30 minutes through the forest to a secluded hut with an open front and campfire. We wernt lucky enough to see the northern lights but we had a great time. We had some food cooked on the open fire, reindeer sausage, some local chocolate and hot drinks/. 100% would recommend much better than a large bus tour!!!!

We also saw wild animals and footprints and the guys were very good at explaining everything. They also take you to see the Northern Lights, in our case it wasn't possible to see them, but it was worth the trip! Council!! 5 stars deserved

5.00Our guides were 2 local boys and they pepared us with some good stories about the area and also some selfmade food that they cooked over a campfire. The athmosphere was so magnificent around Midnight with all the snowfall and mountains around us. We really enjoyed the trip and will remember it. Thank you!

5.00We had the most amazing, unforgettable time. Our guide, Endre, was so professional and experienced but most of all, he was so knowledgeable and passionate about outdoor life in Tromso. He tried so hard to follow the Lights but although it was just glimpses, we were not disappointed as we had a magnificent moonlit trek. A genuine highlight of our visit to Tromso!
