2.00Signed up for a two hour walking tour. Local guide was not waiting at the designated location. We were on a cruise and in port for one day, and had no wifi. Eventually connected with tour operator and agreed to meet another guide in the afternoon, but only for one hour. The tour operator said we had to compensate the first guide (even though we were in the correct location and shared the paperwork to prove it), so they only provided a one hour tour. The tour guide was fine and we enjoyed the tour. Would we recommend the tour? Maybe, but buyer beware.

5.00We had a delightful tour of Stavanger with Sandra. She made a special effort to include our request to visit St. Petri Kirke on our tour. We especially enjoyed learning about Norwegian culture, customs, and cuisine. There were many fun facts sprinkled in along the tour as well.

5.00We did a walking tour with Eloisa. She us fabulous. She took us to all the highlights 8f the city as this was our first time in Norway. She gave us insight into to the culture of the people as well as a lot if history about stavanger even going back to 800 AD. Not only was she interesting but she made it fun. Showed us places to shop and recommended a wonderful restaurant for the best salmon I have ever eaten. She was personable and friendly and definitely professional. (Even tho she was a local guide) we thoroughly enjoyed our tour and hope you are lucky enough to get Eloisa for your guide. Book this tour you won't regret it.

5.00Fantastic Tour with a wonderful guide! Our guide (Taj) asked what we were interested in and weaved our desires with Stavanger history and points of interest. Taj’s experience as a naturalized Norwegian was very insightful. You got a different perspective from someone who chose to emigrate to Norway and his views of the country- especially the positive aspects. After our tour, we invited Taj to eat lunch with us. We enjoyed tasty Fish Soup and great conversation. Highly recommend the tour as you can tailor it to your interests if you want. Hopefully, your guide will be as personable and well read as Taj! Awesome time!

5.00This really was fantastic. First stop on our cruise to Norway and a great way not just to find out more about Stavanger but also what it’s like to live in the country. Taj our guide took the trouble to find out about what we wanted and gave us a great insight into local life. Thoroughly recommended

5.00We did the Stavanger walk with Eloisa and it was fabulous. She took us to all the highlights in the city. Gave us insight into some of the culture and places to shop and eat as we had requested. But she went above and beyond. She knew the history of Stavanger and Norway back to 800 AD. She was personablel and friendly. She made us laugh and taught us so much. We had a great time with her. I highly recommend a tour with Eloisa!! You won't be disappointed!

5.00Despite mediocre weather we had a great short trip to Stavanger. We stayed in the excellent Radisson Blu in the centre of the Town and enjoyed trips on the Hop on Hop off bus and cruise of the Linsefiord. Excellent restaurants, welcoming people, very clean city -only regret was we could not see the Cathedral which is undergoing extensive refurbishment.
