Our guide Tom was great. The area is filled with history.. all of the actors were very knowledgeable. We saw things we did not see last time.

Step back in time sounds like a lot for 3 hours, but it is constantly in motion. We never felt tired as there was always a story to hear. We saw several buildings and demonstrations. The tour does vary based on what is open on that day, and the length of the line to get into individual places (ex. skip a long line to see two other places). Our guide Tom had so many bits of knowledge to share, and small details we never would have noticed that really enhanced the experience. He expertly guided us around to see the most for our time. Would highly recommend!

Tom was incredibly knowledgeable, A good listener and very kind and respectful. My husband and I really enjoyed his stories of how certain terms or phrases in the English language were determined. So fun! Tom has a very nice demeanor, which is perfect for working with the public.

Elizabeth was an amazing guide for the "Step in Time Inside Historic Buildings of Colonial Williamsburg" trip. Her deep understanding of history made everything come to life, and her welcoming attitude made it both fun and enlightening. She told us interesting stories about the origins of familiar sayings and vivid living history stories that really took us back to the time of the colonies. I definitely suggest this to everyone who likes history and real stories. It was a great experience.
