The newspaper Times Uk has included the activity of swimming with the stingrays among the top 3 experiences to live in Antigua during a holiday on this island. We offer you the opportunity to live this unique experience in one morning, so you can dedicate the other remaining hours of the day to other activities.

The great thing about this experience is that it is suitable for any age group, from 0 to 99 years old. To access the boat you have to take 2 steps, so everyone will be able to access it even those who have mild back or leg problems. The boat ride takes only 8 minutes. Once you arrive you will be able to go down to the sea with a height of 150 cm (4.75 ft) then you will touch (the tide may be higher in some days). You will interact with these fantastic animals in their natural habitat, it is not a zoo or a circus, so the whole thing is in full respect for the animal. The guide will take pictures of you, so you can take home a fantastic memory of this unforgettable day.

Stingray City

If you are going to live the most unforgettable experience in Antigua, Stingray City is the one for you. We will reach by land the starting point of the boat that in 8 minutes will take us in the middle of the sea where the meeting with the friendly Stingray will take place. It will not be necessary to know how to swim because you touch the bottom of the sea and there will be direct contact with this friendly animal. This is not a zoo or circus! Stingrays are free in their natural habitat.

An excellent trip. Martina was an amazing guide. We spent about one hour in the water with the stingrays. Martina took lots of photos so we could enjoy the experience without the pressure of trying to record our day.

The whole experience was fantastic, our guide Marco was polite, informative and provided lots of extra information on the way there. The guys who worked at Stingray City were helpful and gave us all the information before getting on the speedboat. The experience of being in the water with the stingrays and holding them was just incredible, you won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely fantastic experience. Picked up at handy location, driver was safe so enjoyed the journey. Great staff, everything as stated. Enjoyed lunch, bought a t shirt and photo which were reasonable price. Plenty of time with the Stingrays, great speedboat ride . Would recommend for everyone - one of those experiences not to be missed.

We had a wonderful trip to Stingray Ray city. Staff were very informative and lots of fun, taking time with everyone. They explained about the animals, their anatomy and how they fed from you, and lots more information. The stingrays live free in the ocean and come and go as they please. My husband was a bit frightened getting into the water with so many stingrays, but they just glided past lifting their wings....by the end of our time swimming with them, I couldn't get him out of the water! We all had an amazing time holding these beautiful animals and feeding them too. We will definitely be back

Our driver Keanu was the best!! Very knowledgeable about the island life and kind! We got picked up at our hotel and it was about 30 minutes to the boat. When you get to the boat you have a few minutes to use the bathroom (which was in rough shape for the women) and put on sunscreen. They then give you instructions for interacting with the stingrays. After that, you enjoy a short boat ride to a dock. You get off, get snorkel gear and get in the water with the stingrays!! The stingrays were huge and intimidating at first but the guides assure you it is safe. They held them, helped others hold them, took pictures and let you take your own pictures and videos! Everyone was super kind and the rum punch at the end was good and strong!!!

Fun and exciting experience. While learning about the stingrays and their habitat. All of the guides were knowledgeable, fun and very helpful. They made sure guests were comfortable and you can tell they respect the animals.
