The newspaper Times Uk has included the activity of swimming with the stingrays among the top 3 experiences to live in Antigua during a holiday on this island. We offer you the opportunity to live this unique experience in one morning, so you can dedicate the other remaining hours of the day to other activities.
The great thing about this experience is that it is suitable for any age group, from 0 to 99 years old. To access the boat you have to take 2 steps, so everyone will be able to access it even those who have mild back or leg problems. The boat ride takes only 8 minutes. Once you arrive you will be able to go down to the sea with a height of 150 cm (4.75 ft) then you will touch (the tide may be higher in some days). You will interact with these fantastic animals in their natural habitat, it is not a zoo or a circus, so the whole thing is in full respect for the animal. The guide will take pictures of you, so you can take home a fantastic memory of this unforgettable day.

Transfer from the meeting point with a van to reach the village of Seatons where we take the boat to reach the sandbank in the middle of the sea where we will meet the stingrays.
Stingray City
If you are going to live the most unforgettable experience in Antigua, Stingray City is the one for you. We will reach by land the starting point of the boat that in 8 minutes will take us in the middle of the sea where the meeting with the friendly Stingray will take place. It will not be necessary to know how to swim because you touch the bottom of the sea and there will be direct contact with this friendly animal. This is not a zoo or circus! Stingrays are free in their natural habitat.

5.00Fantastic experience. Was taken out in a boat to a pontoon where we all got in the sea. Stingrays all around us swimming between us and some had a phoyo with them. Great day.

3.00Upon reaching the destination there appeared not to be any clear organisation whatsover. Also, from the advertisement when booking there is no indication that individuals with even minor mobility issues would find getting into and out of the water would be challenging. One member of our partydid not come due to ve incapacitated but was told they could have stayed on the floating platform this was not actually the case because no one was permitted to remain on the platform. If you are a person that should nit be bare foot through health conditions then again you are not permitted any foot covering. Swimming with the Stingrays for those in our party that were able they found it to be a wonderful experience and loved the short time they were given. As once people had, had their photo taken they were getting out.
