• Amazing Day in Grand Cayman

  Simply amazing! We booked a day on a private boat, during a Carnival Cruise, directly with them, no sure excursion. We were picked up when we were supposed to be, and our day literally couldn’t have been better. We didn’t have to wait in those long Carnival lines waiting for anyone. From kissing a sting ray, to snorkeling, this was top notch! There were 7 of us. No packed bus with others. Just us! No crammed boat with others. Just us! The team at Blue Ocean Tours made our day in Grand Cayman amazing, and an experience that we will never forget. They had drinks available on the boat, took us to a great lunch spot, and transported us back and forth in air conditioning. Thanks to Omar, and Denn for an amazing day!

  Our family went on a Caribbean cruise. We had made arrangements with Blue Ocean Tours to go on a private tour to Stingray City, snorkeling, and Starfish beach on Grand Cayman . A day before we arrived in Grand Cayman, I received a text from someone confirming our excursion and asking me what time we would be off of the ship, which I provided. When we got off of the ship in Grand Cayman, we asked directions to our meeting place. The information we were provided told us to meet at the Hard Rock Cafe. When asking directions to the Hard Rock Cafe, we learned that it was no longer there. So we went to where the Hard Rock Cafe used to be. I then received another text asking if we were off the ship, which I responded we were and I told him where we were located. He then called me and asked me what touring company we were using? I thought that was a strange question, but I told him “Blue Ocean Tours.” He then said he would call me back. We waited and waited and never received a call. I finally tried calling him, but every time he would not answer his phone. So I called Blue Ocean Tours, someone answered and I told him who I was, he informed me that our tour had been cancelled. I would have never known that they cancelled our excursion if I didn’t call. By then it was late morning and all the other tour groups had left. When I asked who the person was that had been texting me, he told me that he didn’t know. The entire thing seemed very strange.

  Great family trip with grandparents and kids. Omar did a great job everyone had an amazing time. Great snorkeling and sting ray city was awesome.

  It was a windy day but Captain Dean ensure we all enjoyed our day. Dean found us an area near the shore with stingrays as Stingray City was packed and the water rough with the wind. Our kids 7, 9, and 11 really enjoyed that and starfish point. Great day!

  Here’s your updated review with that added smoothly: ⸻ We had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The boat itself is a 24-foot bow rider—perfect for a fun, comfortable private outing. It has a small stern ladder that makes getting in and out of the water easy, especially for swimming and snorkeling stops. Captain Dean (definitely request him!) was outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and very laid back. He made the whole trip feel relaxed while still being informative and engaging. You can tell he really knows the area and takes pride in giving guests a great experience. They provided everything we needed: bottled water, soft drinks, flotation vests, and snorkeling gear—super convenient and well-organized. We met in West Bay and visited Starfish Point, Stingray City, and a beautiful reef for snorkeling. The entire trip was private for our group of six (including two kids), which made a huge difference. We specifically wanted to avoid the crowds, and this was absolutely the way to do it—no rush, no chaos, just a fun and memorable family experience. The trip lasted a little over 4 hours, which was perfect, but they were very flexible—if you want more time, just ask. Omar handled all the communication and was excellent throughout. He stayed in touch leading up to the trip and even helped reschedule to avoid bad weather, which we really appreciated. One extra tip—if you’re staying on the East End (Rum Point area), you can request pickup and drop-off there. It’s a great option that saves you from having to drive all the way to West Bay. All in all, a 5/5 experience. Highly recommend, and we would absolutely book with them again.

  Dean was mellow and kind. He shared lots of facts about the stingray with our family. (Parents and two teens). We always felt we were in good hands and Dean never rushed the experiences. That was a tricky feat given that the wind was rough at times and we had busy spring break boat traffic. Dean moved the boat to get us the best spots and it made for a memorable family outing.

  We had an incredible day! Dean was a fantastic tour guide. He made sure we were safe with the sting rays and the timing of the trip was perfect. We were so thankful to have our own boat and guide instead of the catamarans with 100 people. We would recommend this trip to anybody. It was the highlight of our cruise.
