As we head to our first destination, we'll drive through Basseterre, the capital of Saint Kitts. Along the way, you'll see some of the city's historic landmarks, including Berkeley Memorial (often called the circus), Independence Square (formerly Pal Mal Square), the Co-Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, St. George's Anglican Church, the National Museum, Her Majesty’s Prison and The Government House.
Old Road Town in St. Kitts, one of the island's earliest settlements, exudes historical charm with its colonial architecture and narrow streets. Visitors can explore sites like the Old Road Bay Methodist Church from the 18th century or enjoy leisurely walks along the scenic coastline, experiencing the peaceful Caribbean atmosphere. Rich in heritage and surrounded by serene landscapes, Old Road Town offers a captivating blend of history and natural beauty for travelers to St. Kitts.
Romney Manor in St. Kitts, a historic estate dating back to the 17th century, is famous for its lush gardens and rich cultural heritage. Once owned by Sam Jefferson II, ancestor of President Thomas Jefferson, it now welcomes visitors to explore its well-maintained gardens featuring exotic plants and a centuries-old Saman tree. The estate also hosts Caribelle Batik, where traditional Caribbean batik fabrics are crafted, showcasing the island's artistic traditions. Romney Manor provides a captivating blend of history, natural beauty, and craftsmanship, offering a window into St. Kitts' heritage.
Timothy Hill offers a panoramic view of Saint George's Parish, showcasing a 360-degree postcard vista that includes the Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, Frigate Bays, Nevis (known as the Sister Island), and the Peninsula Hills.
OPTIONAL: Enjoy some leisure time at the stunning Frigate Bay Beach on the Caribbean Sea in St. Kitts (there is a $20 fee collected upon drop-off). Your guide will return you to the starting point regardless of whether you choose this option. This is an opportunity to experience the island's beautiful beach scenery.

2.00Unfortunately the night before, the organizer told me that he could not honor the excursion and offered me another one instead or a refund. As it is difficult to find excursions the day before for the next day I accepted this other excursion which was posted more expensive according to his guidelines. However while in the excursion I had chosen initially there was the lunch included in the news he offered me there was no meal. I only give my opinion on this because I will go and note the replacement excursion directly on the link. Purpose: I booked an excursion with lunch included, I was told that the excursion was complete or unavailable the night before and was offered another one without lunch included but I paid the same price.
We did not have the opportunity to enjoy any experience as the trip was cancelled 😞

1.00Our excursion was confirmed and 1 hr later cancelled. Waiting for a refund. Cancelled early on Monday December 15th. We were bummed the trip was cancelled.😞
Amazing Private Tour and Easy Access from Cruise Port

5.00Our private trip was fantastic. If you are taking a cruise to St. Kitts, this was worth paying for and I would avoid the group tours sold on the cruise. Our Driver/Guide made stops at places we wanted photos, was very knowledgeable, we had the flexibility of stopping for things we wanted and saying no to things we didn't care to use the time on. Booking this and doing this tour was an amazing choice for us. The price in US was about $140 per person (we were charged in Canadian for some reason.) This was the right one for what we wanted.

5.00Didn’t get to go on the tour this time. But Marle was so professional. He ended up being double booked and tried to get us a replacement, but he understood that we really just wanted to do it with him because of all his great reviews. And he was great about getting us a refund. Hopefully we’ll be back to the island soon and I wouldn’t even consider doing this tour with anyone but him!

5.00I am sharing my experience from the 3-hour tour of St Kitts on December 29. Unfortunately, I have forgotten the tour guide's name, but I want to let you know she was outstanding. We felt like a friend was giving us a tour of the island. She provided a good overview of the history of St. Kitts and took us to as many sites as possible in the time provided. I highly recommend booking with this provider.

5.00We had a lovely day with Kingston. He catered the tour to what we needed and we ended on a lovely beach and at the Monkey Bar. He had good energy the whole day and answered all our questions. If I lived in the island, I’d want him to be my friend. Lol

5.00I was convinced by the 5-star reviews to try this tour with my husband and two kids (ages 8 and 10), and the reviews were spot on! This is a fantastic way to experience St. Kitts. Dominic was an amazing guide- incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and he paced the tour just right. We drove the entire circumference of the island and got back right on time. Dominic showed us lots of interesting places that I don’t think we would have seen on a typical tour. He is an amazing guide, and this was one of my favorite tours ever. The kids loved it too!

1.00Tour operator was switched without informing me even though he confirmed the day before. You could not beleive our surprise when a bright pink van with "Bad Bitch" and "love" on the side We boarded and asked for air conditioning and he said it broke (88 outside). This was a clear bait and switch and Viator should be held responsible. We had to find a local tour on our own. Terrible

5.00I found Marle through a St Kitts and Nevis Travel Plannjng Facebook Group and reached out to arrange pick-up from the airport. After arriving and all going smoothly I booked the 3 hour Private tour which was more like 4, no complaints there. Marle had his coworker Keithson give us the tour with a pick-up of 10 am. Keithson was on time and had a great personality and his knowledge of the history of the island was vast. Keithson took us through many villages and old rum factory and Brimestone Hill Fortress where we spent sometime as this kind of attractions intrigue us. The great thi g a out this tour is it can be catered to your wants and needs. My husband and I enjoyed our time and will do again.
