  The tour itself gave us lots of beautiful views and information about St. Maarten. Colby was an excellent tour guide, incredibly knowledgeable and fun.

  We booked the tour for our port day in St. Maarten and had the best time! There was some confusion with the pickup (make sure you reach out before you go) but once that was sorted we had an incredible day. Nascha was deeply knowledgeable and truly loved sharing all she knew about the island. The hikes were strenuous but not too bad (make sure you bring sunscreen) and the views when we got there were breathtaking. Nascha was happy to let us explore and alter the course. There was no pressure. Truly felt like a new friend showing us around their home. It gave me a deep appreciation of St. Maarten and I can’t wait to go back and explore more.

  

  

• Outstanding Tours in St Maarten.

  We did two tours with Seagrape. Both were outstanding. Nascha was our guide for the Phillipsburg walking tour. It was so interesting hearing her stories and seeing sites with special attention to beautiful murals. She knows so many of the local people. And she is a fine artist in her own right having made a very interesting mural with community support She’s great at answering questions, especially about issues that are controversial/challenging. The next day we went with Werner on three nature hikes. The first was a coastal hike to back bay. The second was the “easy way”to peak paradise and the third was a coastal hike near oyster pond. All were excellent, beautiful views, interesting history and not particularly difficult. Seagrape tours is highly recommended.

  I was never picked up from meeting point. Communication was terrible. I called so many times and I got no response except to tell me that tour was not happening. I wasted my entire morning. Very disappointed with both, Viator and Seagrape tours

  Our guide Ellie was great! Knowledgeable about many aspects of the area. She actually provided some personalization by visiting a few areas specially because of my interest in birds. The homemade banana bread and lemon grass tea was the icing on the cake!

  Our tour guide, Werner, was fantastic! We learned so much from him about the history of the island, its flora and fauna, and geological formation. Loved the entire experience from the hiking to the lemongrass tea and banana cake! Highly recommend taking this tour!

  We had a great tour with Werner of Seagrape Tours! Werner took us on 3 different hikes and shared lots of info about the history and culture of the island. He is super knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend time with. We would never have found these places to hike by ourselves! My husband is a bird watcher and Werner made sure he got to see lots of birds on our tour. He also makes delicious lemongrass iced tea and banana bread/cake! Thank you Werner!

  Thank you Rikke for the fantastic half day coastal hike and swim tour in January 2024. I highly recommend this tour to everyone. Rikke was very knowledgeable about all things, ranging from environmental protection management to birds, plants and the local lore, politics and Island history. We went on lovely walks and got to swim in beautiful Happy Bay just before we departed the Island. Our tour brought much depth to what we had already experienced. We will definitely do another Seagrape tour if we visit the island again. Thanks so much Rikke for a beautiful tour. I'll always remember the Seagrape tree:)

  We had an amazing half day tour with Werner in mid November, we were lucky enough to be the only ones on the tour and Werner was very knowledgeable and friendly, we loved the scenery of the island, the lemongrass tea was amazing and banana bread was fab reward after Pic Paradis. I would really recommend this tour to all, Werner really showed us around the island and we felt like we saw lots in our 4 hours but also had lovely walks and a swim. Will do one of their other tours if we visit the island again. Thanks so much for our great day.

  

  

  

  

• Wonderful Tour!

  This was a great tour to do some hiking, see some gorgeous views, learn a bit about St. Maarten's history, culture, and ecosystems, and end with a swim at a beautiful quiet beach with a wonderful guide. Perfect small group tour to be a little active and see some great sights away from the crowds!
