Just moments out of the city the archipelago begins, with almost 30,000 islands it’s one of the most unique areas in Europe. Experience this full-day kayaking tour, the most adventurous and eco-friendly way to explore the raw beauty of Sweden’s unspoiled wilderness.

Participants must be able to swim 200 meters.
Youths must be at least 16 years old to join the tour. Please note that the minimum height overrules the age for safety reasons.
Minimum height: 1.50 m
Maximum height: 1.95m
Maximum weight: 130 kg
This tour needs a minimum of 2 persons booked on to operate, if the minimum number is not reached you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
CHECK IN time is 15 minutes prior to tour departure. Arriving at departure time or afterwards will likely result in you missing your tour.

The tour starts at our Adventure Café where you meet your group and guide before heading off on a short drive out to the archipelago proper. All our kayak guides are qualified and experienced, so once you are geared up they will take time to run through some basic techniques and safety information with you before you paddle off on a beautiful journey of discovery! The wildlife, rugged scenery and serenity of the archipelago will blow you away! It really is a very special place and there’s no better way to enjoy it than in a kayak. Some of the islands will be big enough to house a village, some a single house and others just a tree! There will be towering cliffs, narrow passage ways, plenty of forest, and wildlife in abundance! You will stop on the sunniest and most sheltered island for a delicious and freshly prepared lunch, where you are welcome to swim and sunbathe should you wish. Our guides try to stop for lunch on a new island everyday so to keep our impact on the nature at a minimum. With so much protection from the open sea we can always find somewhere sheltered to stop, even if it is windy. There will be more time to paddle after lunch before retuning to the city.

5.00We've just had an amazing day kayaking the archipelago for our family of four. The weather was very windy and the sea choppy at the start but our guide kept us safe and we were soon exploring the sheltered areas and had a delicious lunch overlooking beautiful scenery. We even had coffee, hot chocolate and cinnamon buns waiting for us at the end. Thank you so much for great family memories.

5.00Great experience with a great guide. Everything very well organized from start to finish. To experience the Stockholm archipelago up close is a memory for life. The kayaks are stable and safe. Five fat stars for the guide who brought homemade pie, freshly baked buns and some other goodies 🤩 2-day kayaking tour in the archipelago is highly recommended

5.00I went on an archipelago kayak tour, and it was the best tourist day I had in Sweden. I had a great time, and I recommend Daniel as a guide. It was a little pricey but definitely worth it!

5.00An incredible trip enjoyed by adults and children alike. The scenery was stunning as was the sense of tranquility. However, the highlight was our guide. Not only was Johan incredibly knowledgeable but he was also a great communicator and extremely relaxed. He has even convinced us to return in the winter to go on an ine skating tour with him. A fantastic guide and wonderful person.

5.00Very friendly excursion, with a team also nice! Surprising activity: a game of ice to cross with kayaks, everything is explained of course and very helpful accompaniments, then kayaking in the archipelago with some explanations about the city ... the equipment is perfect (no feeling of cold despite the low temperatures! Wetsuit, gloves, socks, and shoes for activity are provided, and all equipment obviously). You don’t need a level of madness in sports, but good physical condition is ... Only downside of the exit: there are different rhythms in the group, and we often had to wait for the latecomers (but it’s the game of group activities ... if we were the latecomers, we would have appreciated to be expected without pressure ...) Another downside, we expected a slightly wider loop. There it is a round trip from the starting point in the center of the archipelago on and back (60 minutes kayaking on the water in all on a 3h30 excursion) ... That said, recommend, without hesitation.

5.00This was a fun day with an amazing guide. Ben was personable, knowledgeable, and a fantastic cook!:). Had a great day of exercise and site seeing in the water. I highly recommend this kayak trip for a fun day out of the city.

5.00We really loved our Stockholm archipelago kayaking day trip. It was a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Kayaking was a bit tougher than we expected but the views, the swimming, and the lunch on the island were totally worth it.

5.00I have nothing but good things to say about this tour. The organisation and communication was great from the company. The tour guide (Johan) was brilliant and the route well planned. The food was excellent (and caters well for vegetarians). Would definitely recommend.

5.00We did the tour "KAYAKING IN THE STOCKHOLM ARCHIPELAGO" in July 2019. Everything went great on site. Our guide René could speak German, because we fortunately had him to ourselves that day, he could tell us a lot about Stockholm. He was very professional throughout the tour, always giving us tips as a beginner and when it started raining he was still in a great mood. The tour itself is highly recommended, everything is thought of, the impressions and views are madness. Our personal highlight was when we spontaneously took a coffee break in the kayaks in the middle of the rain. We would book there again and again, as everything has gone simple and uncomplicated and there are all very nice and accommodating.
