  They were happy to sell us tickets when they knew well in advance that no buses would be running due to the marathon. Still waiting for a refund.

• This was the worst tour....

  This was the worst tour. They booked us for a day when buses were not running. Then the phone number they gave us to arrange refund did not answer after three tries. Once we found someone to authorize us to use the ticket on a different day. The audio portion was staticky, and you could barely hear. Then they made us get off the bus and wait for another bus because the driver had been driving too long. The second bus was very crowded and not everyone from our bus got on. Would it not have been better for the tourists who paid if they changed the driver?

  Worse experience ever. Probably due to the marathon in Stockholm that day but all the buses were canceled because of it. Then the boats were unorganized and it was over 1.5 hour wait. So we had to blow it off. Viator never contacted us to let the bus part of the hop on hop off bus was canceled and they still charged us for it even though the buses were not available. I have requested a full refund as we couldn’t use it since they were canceled.

  Compared to other cities in the world, it was a bad experience. It is like taking a tour in an unfamiliar city without the audio guide explaining anything; there was almost no information throughout the trip, just music for the most part.

  Easy to use bus. Regular stops, on time and stops well marked. Great experience for both of us. Roof was closed, maybe for good reason.

  We really enjoyed riding around the city and not getting off….just did a round trip and enjoyed the sites. I do with the headphones have more history and facts about the city. There was some random music that repeated the same song over and over. I like to hear information about the country/city. Otherwise it was fun. We loved the boat hop on hop off even better. Great site seeing !

• HOHO isn’t for everyone. Must walk alot or stay on

  The boat ride was scenically beautiful. The bus was not so great. The audio info didn’t work, we heard mostly music, the drivers didn’t help with questions. Didn’t know how to turn on AC. Very hard to find bus stations, not marked clearly

  The hop on hop off bus was very easy to manage. The bus stops were clearly marked and the bus arrived regularly.

• Total sound failure

  There was constantly no sound, so we did not learn anything, and the bus stops had to be communicated to us by the bus driver over the microphone.

• The audio guide needs to be redone! Not recommended.

  We quickly boarded the bus, and at the time of boarding, the staff was kind and thorough in providing us with information. Unfortunately, however, we encountered two major problems: 1) The audio guide (the most serious problem) A truly horrible background music filled the moments of silence (perhaps to confirm that the headphones were connected properly). I strongly suggest replacing it with something more relaxing, because this one only causes headaches. Moreover, the tour was circular: on the way there, the audio guide said, "look to your right at the building..." and on the way back, it repeated the exact same information, maintaining the command to "look to the right" for a building that, clearly, on the way back was on the left! In general, the information was very few and scant on the way there, and lazily replicated on the way back (the exact same audio file, without even the effort to record something different). 2) Temperature management We traveled the first leg with the heating at maximum and the roof closed, and the second leg with the heating off and the roof open. Temperatures should be managed with much more care. I took this bus with 8 friends (9 people in total), spending about 30 euros each. You can do the math for the total amount... For what we paid, the service was absolutely not up to par. Stockholm is beautiful and deserves more.
