Unacceptable and misleading service at Presbiro (Skavsta) I was helping a 65-year-old woman, traveling alone for the first time and not speaking Swedish, to buy a ticket from Skavsta to Oskarshamn. We clearly explained the situation and asked for the simplest option. The staff member (who only gave his first name, Tomas) deliberately sold her five separate tickets with five transfers (buses and trains), claiming there was no other option. When I pointed out that she could get lost, he laughed and refused to refund the tickets (over 800 SEK) even though they were not used. This caused enormous stress, wasted time, and unnecessary costs. Only later did I find a much simpler direct bus option on my own. Such behavior is unprofessional, disrespectful, and damaging to Sweden’s reputation as a welcoming country. Presbiro should take responsibility and improve staff training. Not recommended at all!
