Step back in time 5,000 years as we visit the best-known prehistoric monument in Europe. Take a step inside the reconstructed Neolithic houses, furnished with replica axes, pottery and other artefacts, and listen as our guide brings the fascinating history of Stonehenge to life. Who built Stonehenge? Why was it built? Discover the answer to these questions and learn how it was constructed using rudimental tools and stone from quarries hundreds of miles away. In the world-class exhibition centre, you’ll get the chance to come face-to-face with a 5,500-year-old man and over 250 ancient objects.
Bath
Our last stop will be the historic city of Bath, originally built as a place of well-being and relaxation by the Romans over 2,000 years ago. Home to the country’s only natural thermal hot springs, Bath is a delightful city where the ancient world is intertwined with threads of medieval and more recent Georgian history. Our panoramic drive through Bath provides an excellent introduction to the major sights of this beautiful city, including Pulteney Bridge, The Assembly Rooms and The Royal Crescent. Afterwards, the time is yours to explore this beautiful city at your own pace. Wander its cobbled streets and explore the markets, or choose to visit the famous Roman Baths* and learn all about their history.

5.00Traveled to Stonehenge and Roman Baths. Jack, our driver did a peppery job at getting us to places safely and as on time as traffic would allow. Robert was fully of amazing g history and lore S well as funny anecdotes. He made sure to point out and explain any notable items along the way as well as great information at our stops. Would highly recommend!

1.00Totally disappointed with our tour guide Deborah with our tour July 24. A waste of money with bad experience learning little about the places 1. rude, little customer service, inconsiderate, arrogant, disrespectful 2. scolded us openly when we whispered v softly to each other in our seats when she first introduced herself. 3. Said rudely that she would be unhappy if our tour group is not punctual, lecturing us as if we were a group of elementary kids. 4. When we were unable to understand clearly what she said, she was so rude to say we three were trouble makers in front of everyone. 5. She did not explain clearly when and where to meet back during the visits 6. She did not check with everyone to see if everyone is on the same page before moving on to different topics or important info like gathering time. 8. She did not use her microphone properly and we could not hear what she said clearly. Did not find that she had any intention of trying to help us understand what she said. It was like monologue. 9. She did not tell us there was wi-fi in the bus for a 11 hour tour. We did without any wifi.
