Step back in time 5,000 years as we visit the best-known prehistoric monument in Europe. Take a step inside the reconstructed Neolithic houses, furnished with replica axes, pottery and other artefacts, and listen as our guide brings the fascinating history of Stonehenge to life. Who built Stonehenge? Why was it built? Discover the answer to these questions and learn how it was constructed using rudimental tools and stone from quarries hundreds of miles away. In the world-class exhibition centre, you’ll get the chance to come face-to-face with a 5,500-year-old man and over 250 ancient objects.

Our last stop will be the historic city of Bath, originally built as a place of well-being and relaxation by the Romans over 2,000 years ago. Home to the country’s only natural thermal hot springs, Bath is a delightful city where the ancient world is intertwined with threads of medieval and more recent Georgian history. Our panoramic drive through Bath provides an excellent introduction to the major sights of this beautiful city, including Pulteney Bridge, The Assembly Rooms and The Royal Crescent. Afterwards, the time is yours to explore this beautiful city at your own pace. Wander its cobbled streets and explore the markets, or choose to visit the famous Roman Baths* and learn all about their history.

Lesley was our tour guide and Vish was our driver, what amazing staff on this tour, Lesley was clear on all the necessary instructions and her knowledge on the tour was exceptional, Lesley knew the answer to every question and was also very passionate about the sights we saw and London in general. I would love to do more tours with Lesley as the guide, she should be comended on her exceptional knowledge, her great sense of humour and the passion she has for her country, she is an asset to the company.

We enjoyed our tour day with Simon as our guide. He was informative with his narration to make the day interesting. Mentor was our coach driver. He was friendly, the ride was comfortable. We toured Stonehenge and the Roman Baths. It was a lovely day.

Loved it! Highly recommend. Stonehenge was incredible, and the optional Roman bath tour was wildly interesting as well. I felt like it was just the right amount of time. The price for the experience felt reasonable, and our group was the perfect size. The headsets worked great for anyone hard of hearing or who finds themselves trailing the group quite often. Lastly, Simon and Mentor were fantastic. Mentor was a great driver, and Simon was a fountain of knowledge regarding the beautiful sights we encountered. Would recommend as a fun trip for individuals or families, and it was a great opportunity for us to sit back and enjoy the day after a week on our feet. Cheers!

Spent the day with driver Mentor and tour guide Simon. Appreciated the ease of the guided tour (when and where to arrive, etc), how to get around, and tickets to the named attractions. The commentary provided by Simon was excellent and there was plenty of time to see Stonehenge and the Roman Baths (recommended if you’re going to be spending such a short time in Bath regardless). I wish I could have spent more time in the city of Bath but I knew the time constraints when booking the tour. If you’re spending a short time in the UK and want to see some historical landmarks with additional information, this is a wonderful choice.
