If you select the tour option for Stonehenge and Windsor Castle, you will spend more time exploring 2 of the most remarkable places in England on this day trip from London.
We also have an option for Windsor Castle Half-Day Tour for people who would like to visit Windsor Castle ONLY.
The tour option for Stonehenge and Windsor includes entry tickets, with this tour you will visit 2 locations and will have ample time to spend at each location and have lunch. At Stonehenge there's a café to buy a sandwich and drinks and at Windsor there are plenty of restaurants and cafes to buy food.
We start from London and head to the ancient and mysterious Stonehenge, where entrance is included. This is possibly the UK’s most well-known historical monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Next, we visit Windsor, and this comes with Windsor Castle tickets. Here you will wander through the Grand State Apartments of a working castle and see where Heads of State & monarchs still meet.

Stonehenge
Going to Stonehenge is optional. Please select the option for Stonehenge and Windsor Castle if you want to visit Stonehenge. When we arrive at Stonehenge your entrance will be included and you’ll have free time to explore the stone circle from the designated path as well as the visitor centre. Audio guides, which are provided by Stonehenge in a variety of languages, are included with the entrance ticket. As these are provided subject to availability, we encourage you to bring along some headphones, as the audio commentary can also be downloaded as a mobile phone app.
Windsor Castle
Your tour guide will help you to find your way inside Windsor Castle (entrance is included). There will be approximately 3hrs to explore Windsor Castle’s state apartments, St George’s Chapel & Queen Mary’s Dolls House at your own pace with a multimedia guide provided by Windsor Castle, subject to availability.

1.00If you are looking to see Stonehenge and Windsor Castle do not use Anderson Tours! My child's #1 wish for our holiday was to go Stonehenge. So we splurged and I thought that was what we purchased. While every email/text I got from them said "Stonehenge" I had in fact booked only Windsor. HORRIBLY disappointing and it felt like a bait and switch! We tried to make the best of it and went on the Windsor Tour, but what a waste of money. The guide, while very nice, didn't come in with us and mostly gave his opinion on popular culture rather than historical information. So, if you want to go to Stonehenge, beware! You might not get what you're thinking you bought. The guide said others had the same issue. And if you want to go to Windsor Castle, take the train, listen to the free castle audio guide because Anderson's guide doesn't even come in with you, and save yourself possibly 100 USD/74.02 GBP.
Brilliantly organized tour. Attentive and knowledgeable guide who cared for the group with top professionalism.
