5.00My husband and I went on the half day Stonehenge Tour. Our guide was wonderful. He was pleasant and answered all our many questions. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tour of Stonehenge leaving from Bath.

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our half day Stonehenge tour. Our guide, Simon, did an outstanding job explaining the broader history of the region and how it related to Stonehenge. He had very good visual aids to help explain Stonehenge creation, layout, etc. We never would have gained the same appreciation for the area as we did with this tour!

5.00This was easily the most enjoyable tour experience I have ever had the pleasure of taking! We were able to have a private tour with Roland, a local retired history teacher, who was the most kind, informational, and capable host. He provided a wealth of knowledge and was very happy to answer our many questions. We learned so much about the area, both the city and surrounding countryside, on the way to Stonehenge and of course about Stonehenge itself. We were given some time on our own to explore and shop as well. Roland was incredibly considerate, giving us recommendations for the rest of our journey and even dropped us off at our next destination when we were short on time. Cannot recommend enough!

5.00Lynette and I recently spent a wonderful day with Simon from In and Beyond Bath exploring Stonehenge and then walking historic Bath. Simon was terrific to work with from our initial email exchange to a short telephone conversation to finalize our plans for the day. Simon was incredibly helpful with the logistics of taking the train from Paddington to Bath Spa. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Simon - extremely knowledgeable about Stonehenge and how best to visit. And we had a wonderful time walking through historic Bath even finding time to stop for a very nice coffee. All in all a very pleasant experience in working with Simon followed by a wonderful day of exploring. If you are interested in visiting Stonehenge and / or Bath, we would highly, highly recommend In and Beyond Bath. We are looking forward to a return engagement with Simon to explore the Cotswolds.

5.00What an amazing tour. Simon picked us up at the hotel and took us to Stonehenge. He shared stories of the country side. My wife is a huge history nut and he and Simon had a great conversation talking about history and TV shows that was filmed in the area. His knowledge of Stonehenge was very interesting and kept my 11 year old daughter amused. He was very easy going for the tour and even stopped at a small village on the drive home for a quick walking tour.

5.00Max, our guide, gave our group a great experience. His commentary made the trip down to Stonehenge fly by and kept everybody engaged. It hardly needs to be said that he shared his considerable knowledge of Stonehenge’s history and apparent purpose and put it all in context of the bigger archeological picture of the Downs.

5.00Thank you, Jules, for a wonderful trip. He picked us up, along with our luggage, and drove us all around, getting to know us and giving highlights of the locale on the way to Stonehenge. Once ther, we sat in the cafe and heard the history and theories about the place then got on the bus to tour the monument. Afterwards, he dropped us at the trian station so we could continue our journey to London.
