This half-day tour gives you plenty of time to explore the ancient prehistoric monument with a guide who has been to Stonehenge over 500 times! You can choose either a morning or afternoon tour.

Your guide from Bath Insider Tours will collect you from your preferred pick-up point in Bath and will drive you, by private vehicle, to Stonehenge approximately 1 hour away.
Stonehenge
At Stonehenge you will have a private tour of the famous stone circle where you will have lots of opportunities to take photos of one of Britain's most internationally recognised landmarks. Your guide will explain about its history, how archaeologists believe it was constructed and will tell you interesting stories behind the site as well as the latest discoveries. The exact purpose of Stonehenge remains a mystery so at the end of your visit you can form your own opinion! After visiting Stonehenge you will be driven back to your preferred drop-off location in Bath. You will have approximately 1.5 - 2 hours at Stonehenge.

Friendly, informative, patient, VERY knowledgeable of the town, the country side and especially Stonehenge. He made us feel as special guests. 5.00One of the best tour guides we've used! Daniel is a born & raised Bath native, and has an expansive about of information about the area. All of the Stonehenge employees knew him and it's clear he is well respected by them. I can't recommend him enough for whatever type of tour you are looking for out of Bath!

5.00This was a great way to experience Stonehenge!! We didn't have to worry about the hassles of public transport AND we had in-depth commentary throughout the whole thing. Daniel knows his stuff and was able to bring this place to life for us - he answered questions we didn't even know we had and made it enjoyable for our 3.5 year old. He even brought a picture book for our son to look at, about Stonehenge, on the drive back to our hotel. He truly thought of everything to make this a great and informative experience!

5.00Our guide, Daniel, was local to Bath and made the trip to Stonehenge extremely enjoyable and interesting! He’s clearly well educated on Stonehenge, and most of the workers there greeted him warmly. We really couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

5.00Daniel was an amazing tour guide. Picked us up at our hotel. Used the time traveling to share knowledge and answer our many questions. Continued that education while we viewed the site (which was amazing!). Highly recommend!
