Windsor Castle is a working royal palace and planned closures/disruptions may be subject to change, from those seen on the product page.
Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesday, we offer a walking tour instead on those days.
When the State Apartments are closed the Precincts, Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House and the Drawings Gallery remain open.

Due to driver's legal working hours restrictions, this tour will finish within a 2 or 3 minute walk of Gloucester Road Underground Station. This station is in Zone 1 and is three stops Eastbound on the Circle Line or the District Line to Victoria. The Piccadilly Line also runs through Gloucester Road, and is only 5 stops to Piccadilly Circus.
During the winter months an additional five rooms, known collectively as the Semi-State Rooms, are included in the visitor route.
St. George’s Chapel is usually closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services.

Your coach will leave from the designated meeting point at 8am sharp – make sure you’re there minimum 15 minutes before to check in! The first stop of your adventure will be the world’s oldest and largest occupied castle, Windsor Castle, where you will arrive at approximately 9:30am. With its sweeping landscaped gardens and a striking round tower, it's easy to see why Windsor Castle is King favourite weekend residence. Enjoy wandering through the lavish State Apartments - home to priceless artworks by Rembrandt, Leonardo da Vinci and many more - and visit the beautiful St. George's Chapel, the final resting place of former monarchs including Henry VIII and the wedding venue of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!
St. George's Chapel
Step inside St George’s Chapel, located on the sprawling grounds, where notorious King Henry VIII and his favourite wife, Jane Seymour, are buried, as are Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. St. George's Chapel is one of the finest examples of gothic architecture in England. It has been the setting for many royal weddings and is the burial place of ten sovereigns. The Chapel is dedicated to the patron saint of the Order of the Garter. Britain's highest Order of Chivalry. *St. George’s Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services. These occur at the following times: 08:30 – Holy Communion 10:45 – Mattins and Sermon 11:45 – Sung Eucharist 17:15 – Evensong

We felt well-informed all day, taking all the care out of traveling. And our driver Zaw did an amazing navigating all the roadways! 4.00Experienced was excellent and Bruce and Amoando was excellent through out the Journey. Bruce was excellently explaining the place very. Only regret was the too much to cover and felt way to expensive.

5.00Bruce , the Tour Guide was brilliant! He had such knowledge and gave everyone great insight into Windsor Castle , Stonehenge and Bath. He was very funny yet professional with his commentary which made the coach journey very enjoyable. He is a huge asset to his company. So too was the driver Armando who was very friendly and professional too. He is an exceptional and safe driver and an asset too to his company. 5.00Had a beautiful day! Checked bucket list items off! Tour guide Bruce was fantastic, very pleasant and gave a lot of good tips for seeing everything. Driver, Armando, was excellent as well. Wish we had more time as it did feel very rushed but there was alot to see in just one day. 10/10 would do another tour with this group.

5.00We went on a day trip to windsor castle, stonehenge, and bath. It was a wonderful day! Windsor was fantastic and not crowded. Stonehenge was clear weather and more inpressive than I thought it would be! Bath was a pretty European town and the bath tour was very interesting. We all loved the tour and would highly recommend it! Bruce was an entertaining and informing tour guide. Armando was a safe and kind driver. Would highly recommend!!!!!! A+++++++++
