The first stop of your adventure will be the world’s oldest and largest occupied castle, Windsor Castle, where you will arrive at approximately 9:30am. With its sweeping landscaped gardens and a striking round tower, it's easy to see why Windsor Castle is King favourite weekend residence. Enjoy wandering through the lavish State Apartments - home to priceless artworks by Rembrandt, Leonardo da Vinci and many more - and visit the beautiful St. George's Chapel, the final resting place of former monarchs including Henry VIII and the wedding venue of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!
St. George's Chapel
Step inside St George’s Chapel, located on the sprawling grounds, where notorious King Henry VIII and his favourite wife, Jane Seymour, are buried, as are Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. St. George's Chapel is one of the finest examples of gothic architecture in England. It has been the setting for many royal weddings and is the burial place of ten sovereigns. The Chapel is dedicated to the patron saint of the Order of the Garter. Britain's highest Order of Chivalry. *St. George’s Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services. Driver ok, guide was rambling and difficult to follow. He also didn't seem very engaged or interested. Too little time at Windsor, 1,5h waiting, 1h at the castle. We were there at 8:40 while state rooms open at 10:00. We were first in the queue but the only use this had was so that we could leave shortly after 11:00 Bath is ok, if you are pressed on time, you can skip it and just visit Windsor and Stonehendge.

Started the day around 7 am. There were multiple busses because the tour is so popular so we hopped onto the earliest one. Around 20-30 people in the bus. The day started off rainy but tour guide Bruce and driver Kee made the experience enjoyable. Plenty of time at each location; just make sure to account for travel time back to bus (Stonehedge has 5 min shuttle, lines can get long). It did get a bit hot in the bus so I would recommend bringing a portable fan or neck fan if you run hot!

This was a full day! We chose this tour as we only had a few days in the area and wanted to see as much as possible. The only drawback was the limited amount of time we got to spend in each of the three locations. Would've like to have more time at each spot! The tour guide - Jason and the bus drive - Kiran, were both great!

Peter was an excellent tour guide filling us with stories about the history of the monarchy. Fantastic!

Like most day trips the execution was 80% bus ride and 20% site seeing. There was plenty of time to see Stonehenge . Windsor Castle was great but the changing of the guard there took just a little bit too long to see if you were going to make it back on the bus. Bath wasn’t long enough to walk through and eat lunch or dinner - you had to pick one or the other . Our guide was great though.
