  My friend and I had a great time on this tour, about the weird and wonderful stories of Valletta and their former residents, and tales of phantoms, plague, poisons and poo. A great way of getting your steps in, while Mario provides the information, the entertainment and the laughs.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our Stories of the Strange in Valletta tour. Mario really knows his stuff and presents it entertainingly. We laughed and were fascinated in equal measure. Highly recommended for interesting tales and helping get your bearings in Valletta.

  Mario was a fantastic guide for a fascinating tour. Charming, animated, engaging - I would have enjoyed the tour whatever the subject matter, but the stories were interesting, eclectic, original and humorous. As someone who is generally bored by history this is a 'historical' tour I can thoroughly recommend. Word of warning - whilst not child 'unsuitable' I would imagine that you would want to be at least 12 to appreciate the stories. It's also 2hrs on your feet which can be tiring if you've already spent the day on your feet

  Mario’s tour on the Stories of the Strange was illuminating and shed light on Valletta’s dark and sordid history. He is engaging, funny and a great storyteller. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in learning about Valletta’s strange history. Well done Mario!

  Mario is a fantastic orator, theatrical snd engaging he kept us cativated snd enthralled tor two hours. A fantastic way to end my time in Valetta. I would highly recommend this tour.

  We were really excited booking it and we’re not disappointed! Such amazing story’s and seeing the side streets we wouldn’t have otherwise seen, the humour when telling the stories was brilliant as well. Was slightly longer than the 2 hours but would have gladly listened to more. Definitely worth the money and so much more!!

  I enjoyed the tour very much! My boyfriend and I saw a lot of Valletta, what we didn‘t see before, so it was Like a City Tour, but with a twist.

  Very entertaining, great speaker. Not boring or to technical. Will attend another when we return next year. Lots of walking so be you must be able to walk, traverse stairs and stand around.

  Amazing tour and tour guide! He had a very engaging voice and made it very dramatic which we loved. Mario also has great hair!
