  My wife and I love food walking tours and try to go on one in every city we visit. This was hands down the best. The team (yes team) was incredibly organized and pleasant to deal with. The food was delicious, and they definitely take you to places you are very unlikely to stumble upon. Couple that with the personal connection this company has to the community and you just get such an authentic experience, that I really can't say enough good things about this tour.

  Jonathan and Elena have curated a truly remarkable experience for those who choose to take their Street Food Tour. Yes, we tasted many unique flavors, which I absolutely enjoyed! Yes, we were educated about many of the local resources like abundant fresh seafood and fish from both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts, as well as unique fruits and vegetables. Yes, we finished the tour so fully sated that we did not go out for dinner. But above and beyond all that, the best part was getting to see neighborhoods that showed me more about day-to-day life in Panama City and learning more about their history. It is clear that Jonathan and Elena deeply love their neighborhood and their neighbors, and they are truly invested in its future. At all times, we felt completely safe in their care, even when going to neighborhoods where tourists may not often wander. Each step of the way, we were shepherded by them and Aron and Melki who even stopped traffic so that we could cross safely as a group. The audio system they provided was an immense help in being able to hear our guides on our way along the noisy streets. These are true professionals, and I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to have a delicious adventure!

  The tour was incredible. Not only because of the delicious food, but the culutral experience was one we will remember. Elena and the whole crew took care to make sure we were hydrated, comfortable and having a good time. The amount of food you receive is generous for the price. Their love and respect for the Panamanian culture and neighborhood is evident and we were honored they shared it with us.

  This was way more than a food tour. The guides were highly knowledgeable and entertaining. The food was delicious, the scenery was amazing. This is a great starter or finisher to your visit in Panama Elena and Jonathan’s knowledge runs deep, they live and work within the community, which comes through in every story they share. They also gave additional food recommendations for the rest of our stay We’ve taken many food tours in various countries, which are typically hit and miss. They are well organized and believe in supporting their community. We highly recommend this tour!

  I have been traveling internationally for over 40 years and have taken more tours than I can count. This was without question one of the best tours ever and unquestionably the best food tour I have ever taken. Clearly these folks have thought through what such a tour needs. Not just the tour locations and experiences but also the amenities one may need during and even post tour. Elena, Jonathan and the entire crew are knowledgeable, fun, and care passionately about their subject and what they do. That combination is very rare in the tour and travel sector. This is one of the few tour experiences I’ve ever had that I would happily do it again with friends. Highly Recommended

  We have done food tours all over the world and this was among the best! What made it unique was the absolute passion Elena and Jonathan show for their country and their food. We visited places we would never have found on our own and learned so much about the local culture from people who live and eat there. The food was delicious!

  This tour is run by people who are from the places you will visit and their pride shines through. Normally you get one guide on these types of tours, on ours there were 4 people making sure everything went smoothly. We got to meet the owners/cooks at the neighborhood eateries and food stalls we visited and everyone was friendly and accommodating. You visit the part of Panama City most info tells you to avoid, but with our crew of guides we couldn't have felt safer or gotten more stuffed with great food. We'll go again for sure!

  This was the most special food tour I've ever done anywhere in the world. There is so much depth to this tour from meeting the local vendors to learning about different ingredients that exist in Panama (from the lemons which are actually lemons to the fish to the tree tomatoes). It's unbelievable how many tastings you get from the markets to street vendors to local restaurants to a delicious bakery. And the end where you learn about the experience of one of the guides growing up in the neighborhood and how gentrification is affecting the community is the cherry on top of this incredible tour. What's more, this is a family run business and it's beautiful to see the love and appreciation they have for each other. This is a must.
