The tour guide was very knowledgeable, professional and spoke good English. He showed me great places and shared the history of Porsche which was interesting as I now know the meaning behind the logo. I would recommend wearing comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking.

The tour was wonderful! We really felt the city come alive. Simon was very responsive before the tour to work out logistics, and made sure to make the tour focus on our interests.
Do not book this your. Incredibly disappointing.

If I could put 0/5 I would. What’s even more disappointing is that we were unable to get a refund for the ~$140 experience for 2. From email received asking for a refund: “Our Lokafyers are not professional tour guides; they are friendly locals who are passionate about their cities and happy to share their private, non-touristic knowledge of them with the Travellers.” We did start the tour an hour late on our choice knowing that we paid for a 3 hour tour rather than 2 hour tour. At that time, we were fine paying for the 3 hour tour as we chose to start late. Even with that, we chose to end 30 minutes early as the tour was terrible. The tour started with her insulting gypsies as she was commenting on a “gypsy begging for money.” Throughout the tour she proceeded to share her distaste for any immigrant (Turkish/Ukrainian/any refugee/gypsies/anyone with a beard). We briefly went through the red lights district where she shared that this was where the LGBTQIA+ community would go, but “I don’t know about that.” And then it looked like she rolled her eyes indicating she didn’t like or approve of the community. She would point to buildings and say “that’s an old building because it looks old.” Towards the end she shared how she almost died in august, needed surgery, and that she didn’t take the recommended blood transfusion because other people are “dirty.” This came up as we had passed a couple of people handing out flyers, but they were addressing the environment, not Jehovah’s Witnesses (which she thought they were). The final comment where we politely cut off the tour (by lying that we were hungry and wanted to find something to eat) was that she stated the USA should’ve nuked Germany and that the USA is still horrible. I get it’s customized but she didn’t have a clear plan and disregarded what we had wanted. We didn’t tip and we always tip our guides. We’ve taken many tours and this was by far the worst one we have ever been on. We are fine with tour guides sharing a bit on their political views as we understand that all people have the right to their own opinion, however this felt like a 90 minute rant from a person who doesn’t even like Germany, let alone Stuttgart.

Tour guide never showed up and communication was very poor. This subcontractor should be removed from the list. They cancelled two tours at the last minute with no time to set up other tours.
Visit to the sultriest city in the world...Stuttgart ;-)

I realised my hotel is actually situated at the centre of it all which I will otherwise not have been able to know without the customised tour. The guide was also a good communicator and took her time to show and explain the monuments on our way. Overall it was an awesome experience!

Guru took a lot of time for me and my 11-year-old daughter. He was well prepared and already thought in advance what we might both like. On our individualized tour, we saw the market hall, the flea market, the city library and, as a conclusion, the high-altitude park Killesberg (with observation tower and playground). Guru knows a lot about this wonderful city and its people and shares his knowledge in an interesting and humorous way.

My older son and I went on this tour. We had a great time. We went all over and around the city. I really appreciated the guide's low-key approach which included a stop for some gluhwein at the end of the tour. I highly recommend this tour.
