Enjoy an adventure tour in Rio de Janeiro, as you visit the famous Rio's landmark Sugar Loaf mountain. Take a half-mile hike up through the forest to the summit. Enjoy fantastic views from the summit with nice and curios info from your English-speaking guide. Climb a 12 meters rocky section to reach the top. Ride the cable car down the mountain to Morro da Urca on your return, it's included!

We start at the left side of the Praia Vermelha (Red Beach) in Urca. We get in Claudio Coutinho path to reach the begining of the trail. We hike up the Sugar Loaf Mountain. Descent first by cable car, later by trail.

5.00Incredible and difficult climb with impressive views but not for anyone with fear of heights, no climbing experience or without a very high level of fitness (or appropriate footwear). Guide was incredible as were the views but don’t be fooled by the word hike, was more a climb for the entire time
