Just a 2 hour drive from your hotel in Delhi will take you to this bird watchers paradise. So grab your binoculars! From exotic species like Purple Sunbird, Eurasian Thick-knee, Indian Roller, White-throated Kingfisher, Spot billed Duck, Painted Stork, White Ibis, Black headed Ibis, Eurasian collared Dove, Spotted Owlet, Magpie Robin to about 250 feathered species share this planet with us—and in these ten hotspots, they will take your breath away. Can also spot "Blue buck" stages as a fauna element.

Sultanpur National Park
0700hrs:- Pickup will be provided from your hotel in Delhi & get driven to "Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary". With our Guide, you will spend approximately 03 hours around the wetland and forest for spotting birds. Every year more than 100 migratory bird species arrive at Sultanpur in search of feeding grounds and to pass the winter. Important migratory species inlcude: Siberian Cranes, Greater Flamingo, Ruff, Black winged Stilt, Common Teal, Common Greenshank, Northern Pintail, Yellow Wagtail, White Wagtail, Northern Shoveler, Rosy Pelican, Gadwall, Wood Sandpiper, Spotted Sandpiper, Eurasian Wigeon, Black tailed Godwit, Spotted Redshank, Starling, Bluethroat and Long billed Pipit. About 11 species of migratory birds such as Asian Koel, Black crowned Night Heron, Eurasian Golden Oriole, Comb duck, Blue cheeked Bee Eater, Blue-tailed Bee-Eater and Cuckoos come here. In summers too, local birds can be spotted in good numbers.

Later get driven back to your hotel in Delhi. We can also pickup and drop from Nearby "Gurgaon" region too. Kindly note given the size of the park, 03 hours are enough for the birding tour. However if someone wants to do birding photography , then he might end up spending more time, in that case customers can settle the per hour extra charge directly with the guide.

5.00Excellent place to see large number of different bird species, surprisingly close to Delhi. A very peaceful break from the city. Driver was on time and patiently waited for over three hours for us to return.

5.00Only one hour out of Delhi one can access the Sultanpur park and enjoy a rewarding birding experience. Our expectations on the setting and variety of bird life was exceeded! Discover Activities was very communicative and even sent us a park birding list. Mr Singh was a safe driver and demonstrated his scheduling flexibility in and outside of the park. Many birders visit this park. The tour enlisted a local birder to guide us thru the park. Mr Sachin is very knowledgeable of the area and bird population. He is very enthusiastic about birding and really helps his guests take beautiful photographs of the birds. He even knew about a special bird to the area and helped us try to see it. We highly compliment his skills, passion and rising English language. More people should visit Sultanpur!

5.00Truly a gem of birding tour, the park was so calm and refreshing, one thing was truly awesome there, like there were NO weekend crowds OR typical tourists, just serious bird watchers who were enjoying their tour and birds . I was the only one who sighted "Saras cranes" and their guide told it happens only few times in a year

With 250+ species recorded, including ~90 migratory birds, Sultanpur is a paradise for birdwatchers. During the winter months from November till march, the park comes alive with a blast of colors and sounds of bird calls, since migratory birds arrive from Siberia, Central Asia, and Europe..

5.00Awesome weekend outback from Delhi. Operator was helpful in picking us up from our hotel. The moment we entered the forest, the chirping of birds was everywhere, spotting a scooped owl was really awesome

5.00A Perfect all seasons birding destination to see so many beautiful birds. The host "Jai"guides was excellent and really dedicated about the birding experience. He was in touch through whatsapp all the time and ensured a hassled free pickup and further arranged the forest visit in his comfortable car.

5.00This hidden gem is one of the must visit places for birders and bird photographers. This wetland has got massive water basin and swamps. Some fantastic bird species found here are, Painted storks, Ibis, Spotted Owl, Spoonbill, mallard, shovelers, greb, black drongo, tree pie, sunbird, herone, egrets, darters, serpent eagle and many more

5.00Great place to see lots of birds. It’s only a short drive outside of New Delhi. You can easily do in half a day but can certainly be entertained longer if you’re into birding. A scope would be helpful. We were there at the end of March and there were still lots of migratory birds to be seen. The walk around the lake is level and well maintained. Our guide, Jai was so knowledgeable about birds and made the day trip extra special. Jai had a special surprise for us on the drive back to hotel… he stopped to feed some monkeys. The day was really a lot of fun. Definitely recommend!

5.00Surprisingly close to a mega city, a birding heaven. Just 2 hours from our hotel in Delhi, we entered into another world full of surprises. Birds of exotic species nesting around and making the whole forest abuzz with their sounds. The lakes and the views were astounding . We were ably accompanied by Mr Jai Singh whose knowledge about birds is also amazing and he enabled us to explore the forest fully.
