If you are interested in dogs, you will love being here at Snowdog. We have an amazing bunch of super friendly canines. Oh, of course, we have a big bunch of superhero puppies you may wish to meet? We will tell you about Lapland, dog sledding and of course the resident Hero's - our dogs.

Experience the remarkable crystalized pastel colours of Lapland, amazing, breath-taking and vibrant. An experience made quintessential when coupled with a fantastically strong, cuddly and beautiful team of 12-14 Alaskan Huskies. A morning never to be forgotten! You will share a sled that seats 4 people in total and be able to relax and absorb the magnificent wilderness. Perhaps if you are lucky you will be able to see a Moose or some Reindeer on your tour. You will sit and be driven by one of our experienced guides, only to sit and enjoy the ride. Afterwards, you will be able to treat your lovely husky team with a chunk of meat, their favourite winter snack. Our Sled Dog Kennel is approx 17km outside the main tourist centre of Kiruna. Away from all other companies. We will collect you free of charge and bring you to get changed into our warm clothes before taking you into the very dark Poikkijärvi Woods. As part of the experience, if you wish you can help ready the dogs and help secure them after your tour. Then we proceed to our cosy fire hut where you can enjoy a warm drink and a lovely snack over the open wood fire. An experience not to be missed.

5.00Incredible trip! Great value for money, lovely hosts and the dogs were fantastic. We have done this type of tours before in Norway, Finland and now Sweden - this was the best by far! Do not Miss out!! You will not be disappointed

5.00No offense to the organization. Warm outfits on loan are very useful, especially for children (6 and 8 years), because on the sled, it goes fast, and the wind ice you. And crossing those white expanses in a sled dog is just magic

5.00Fantastic morning spent on this experience. All the staff are friendly, dogs really good condition and well looked after, they clearly love pulling the sled. Pick up and drop off all worked well and on time, really pleasant driver, happy to talk and answer all our questions. Staff took time to introduce all our dogs individually and we had the chance to give them each a fuss, all very well behaved and friendly dogs. Actual sled ride was about an hour, amazing experience to take part in and see how well trained the dogs are, and how they respond to commands without hesitation. Got to give them all a treat at the end and a thank you fuss, followed by hot drinks and biscuits in the fire hut. A real great morning for any dog lover.

Greg and Bo 🤍 were incredible guides who brought so much charm to the journey, while Juliette, our driver, was equally kind and professional. 4.00The tour is spectacular. Good, forthcoming and authentic service and accompaniment. They have met the collection, taught us to know and approach the dogs and helped hook the dogs to the sled. A highly recommended experience. You can drive the sled or go as a passenger. One of us drove a sleigh smoothly and enjoyed it more if at all. We enjoyed it a lot.
