If you are interested in dogs, you will love being here at Snowdog. We have an amazing bunch of super friendly canines. Oh, of course, we have a big bunch of superhero puppies you may wish to meet? We will tell you about Lapland, dog sledding and of course the resident Hero's - our dogs.

Experience the remarkable crystalized pastel colours of Lapland, amazing, breath-taking and vibrant. An experience made quintessential when coupled with a fantastically strong, cuddly and beautiful team of 12-14 Alaskan Huskies. A morning never to be forgotten! You will share a sled that seats 4 people in total and be able to relax and absorb the magnificent wilderness. Perhaps if you are lucky you will be able to see a Moose or some Reindeer on your tour. You will sit and be driven by one of our experienced guides, only to sit and enjoy the ride. Afterwards, you will be able to treat your lovely husky team with a chunk of meat, their favourite winter snack. Our Sled Dog Kennel is approx 17km outside the main tourist centre of Kiruna. Away from all other companies. We will collect you free of charge and bring you to get changed into our warm clothes before taking you into the very dark Poikkijärvi Woods. As part of the experience, if you wish you can help ready the dogs and help secure them after your tour. Then we proceed to our cosy fire hut where you can enjoy a warm drink and a lovely snack over the open wood fire. An experience not to be missed.

4.00Make sure that you confirm the pick up spot! We accidentally took a cab to another point when they picked up at our hotel. The guide was very friendly and funny. The team truly cares about the dogs and are knowledgeable. Dress warmly !! The ride is pretty long so get comfortable. The view is phenomenal. We were able to meet the other dogs in their kennels who were very friendly. Be careful when taking photos and videos during the ride; we thought the guides would take more during the ride but we only got stationary video/photo when we were briefly on the lake. At the end we were able to feed the dog team and warm up in a cool hut with beverages and snacks. I would recommend !!!

5.00The pick up worked out perfectly from where we were staying. They did a great job getting us bundled up and getting us ready for a wonderful experience. The dogs were so excited to see us when we arrived!

5.00Craig and his entire team were excellent. They made the best out of our visit as we were in the middle of the seasonal change. The dogs were wonderful and loved having us pet them. The ride with them was really a pleasure and enjoyed being in the hut afterwards having Fika. You can really tell he cares about all of his dogs.

5.00Craig was kind enough to take us on the very last ride of the season very late (April 28)! Both we and the children loved it! Craig and Ondrej also took the time to introduce ourselves to the dogs and we were allowed to enter the puppies. The dogs are incredibly sweet and well-behaved. Super fun experience!

5.00Beautiful experience, beautiful dogs and beautiful people. Small groups, friendly dogs, wild paths in the forest ( we saw reindears), total confort on the slade, nice hot tea after the tour. Thank you again to all the team!
