Meet your guide, Omari, who is passionate about preserving the mangroves around this area that he calls home. He has incredible knowledge about the various bird species in the area. It was such a nice and relaxing moment on the river ! i could enjoy the calmness and it was really healing! The chill spot where we had a break was phenomenal !

Omari was a wonderful and knowledgable guide. Like many touristic activities in the area, you have many choices of boat and guide, but that doesn'e mean you get the same experience. I would highlighy recommend going with this one for a beautiful, educational tour through the mangroves, where safety, respectful engagement with the environment, and a comprehensive understanding of the area and its communities are a priority!

The experience was great. Amori, our guide, had the background knowledge of the Mangroves very well and was interesting to here about it. He followed through until we had the transport back to our place which was very nice as well.

Omari took such good care of us. This was such a peaceful and beautiful tour of the mangroves. I encourage anyone to do this. Omari even waited for us to locate our driver safely. Perfect. Much gratitude!

Beautiful and very suitable to relax and just enjoy nature. Watching with the trunk through the river and lots of birds and other animals is just great. Our boatman Josef also explained a lot to us and when he then steers the boat so calmly with the staff through the river, you come to rest very well.

Enjoyed every minute. The guide was more than friendly. He knew a lott about the mangrove and the wild live. I liked the visit we made to the locale aswell.

I had a wonderful canoe ride down the Kongo River. My tour guide Omari was super nice and very knowledge about the different mangrove and baobab trees and birds along the bank. It started raining about halfway through the ride (to be expected during rainy season) but we pulled over to a rest area on the bank to wait out some of the rain under the trees and a man gave me a coconut which was very nice. Riding back in the light rain was still very nice, especially with the sun setting. Omari also took a lot of pictures of me throughout the ride which was great as a solo rider. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.
