Lazy Lizard Sailing
Our sunset tour start at 2:00pm until 6:00pm. We offer free transportation from the hotels in the area (Tamarindo, Langosta, Flamingo, Conchal, Brasilito, Playa Grande). At 2:00pm we star sailing to the snorkeling spot. It takes like 1 hour to get there. There you can join our guide snorkeling tour, or do it by yourself. We also offer kayaks if you don't want to do the snorkeling, or you can always swim to the beautiful white sand beach. We stay here for around 1.5 hours and then come back with an amazing sunset. All drinks and snacks are include in the rate. On our trip you have the possibility to watch dolphins, whales, turtles, and during the snorkeling activity our guide will do his best to show you the sea life of Costa Rica.

1.00Some things to consider if you are going on this boat trip that is not clear in the description. You have to take a smaller boat to get to the boat and they have you remove your shoes before getting on any boat. They clearly will oversell and stack the boat with as many people as possible where you can barely move around the cabin. A lot of rigid rules which I am sure are for good reason but gets really annoying throughout the trip. Overall, the trip it self is a must do but some items to consider

5.00Excellent value with food, drinks, entertainment/water-sports being included. The hosts were out of this world… constantly checking to see if we needed anything, very nice & made sure everyone had a good time. Highly recommend!

5.00Excellent experience, very well organized. We were picked up on time. The crew was amazing! Luis, Jason and Anderson were above and beyond, making everyone feeling comfortable. The catamaran was impeccable. We enjoyed a delicious meal. I totally recommend this tour.

5.00We had a wonderful experience with this tour and highly recommend!! The pickup from our hotel was great, when we arrived we were taken to the boat from a smaller boat and easily got on, was greeted with enthusiasm, smiles and hospitality! Then we set sail and saw the most gorgeous water and it wasn’t choppy at all. The boat doesn’t go fast so it’s a slow and easy trip to the cove where we anchored. Once we anchored we could jump in the water and swim, lay on the big floating mat, snorkel, etc! Then we got back on the boat and ate a wonderful taco meal! Everything was awesome from the tacos, chips and fruit! We had lots of options to drink as well from beer, liquor, soda, rum punch, and water! Then we headed back and saw lots of dolphins, jumping up and swimming along side us, and saw the gorgeous pacific sunset! Once we returned to the edge of the beach we all departed to the shuttle and was safely returned to our hotel. This was one of the most memorable experiences and I would definitely choose Lazy Lizard for any excursions!!!

5.00It was an excellent trip out on the high seas. Our captain, Josué, was incredible and so fun. The rest of the crew was very hospitable and friendly. The rum punch was delicious and the food on board was a great touch. We will absolutely be back!

5.00Captain Josue and crew were excellent. They provided a non stop string drinks and finished up tour with two kinds of tacos and salad, pasta salad and cookies. The whole team was amazing and fun and hospitable. When we reach our destination in the water, we were offered swim noodles, snorkel gear, kayaks, and paddle boards. Unfortunately it had been raining so the snorkeling wasn’t great. But it was such a fun trip.

5.00My wife, son and I booked a sunset cruise with Lazy Lizard and couldn’t have been happier. We were picked up at Playa Potrero and, once aboard the Lazy Lizard catamaran, we cruised north up the coast to Playa Celeste which is a secluded beach. There was lots of things to do there including snorkeling, swimming, laying out on the giant foam mat, or swimming to the beach to go drink water from a stream coming out of the rock cliff. Once we were all back on board, we enjoyed some amazing tacos and tasty drinks, like the Flamingo. We then cruised south, the crew hoisted the sails and killed the engine. So peaceful and the views from the water were spectacular. Then it all culminated in an amazing sunset, which was truly awe inspiring. The crew was super friendly and made sure we were all taken care of the entire time. What an amazing trip, highly recommended.

4.00Our pickup at our house was about 25 minutes late so we felt bad for holding up the boat. We had a great time once we got going!
