Break away from the typical harbor boat tour and take a quiet, relaxing, and delightful cruise of Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay's East Passage aboard a traditionally restored 50-foot lobster boat. Watch the sun set in a comfortably cushioned and shaded deck, or from the top 'sunny side' deck. The guides, many of whom grew up on these waters, are enthused to share the legends and rich history of their home port. On every cruise, there's something special and complimentary from the galley that is representative of Rhode Island cuisine and culture. Guests on board discover the true flavor of The Ocean State, all compliments of the Captain. Sunset cruisers will enjoy a quahog "stuffie" and champagne to toast their relaxing evening on the water. The cash bar on board serves a selection of Narragansett Beer, Newport Vineyard white wines, and other Rhode Island signature drinks.

Great experience! The staff was super friendly and even called ahead to make sure we knew how to locate the cruise port. The cruise was fun and the staff clearly enjoy what they do. Totally recommended if you’re a Newport enthusiast or visiting for the first time!

The weather was not in our favor, but that can’t be helped! The crew was still very good (shout out to Bella). One negative was that it seemed like there were people on board who were associated with the company and brought their kids with them. The kids were young. They ran around the boat, were jumping on the seats, and were loud. That definitely took away from the experience.

Great experience! Lots of seats. Easy to find. Parking was hard. Bathrooms nearby before you go (gross but get the job done). Views were spectacular.

We were iffy on the weather, being the end if October. But we bundled up and were fine. We had such a great time! We learned a lot and had a perfect sunset! I would totally recommend it!

Great experience. Our guide was amazing - very knowledgeable and funny. Perfect balance between pointing out what we were looking at and also time to enjoy/take pictures of the sunset. 10/10 would recommend. And will definitely do it again when we are back in Newport!

We really enjoyed the cruise with the friendly staff Dave, Hannah and Myles! My daughters and I love doing sunset cruises everywhere we go and this was perfect.

Gansett Cruises during sunset was amazing! Dan, Trish, and the rest of the crew were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be back for another cruise and recommend to my friends!

I have finally learned that, given the option, the sunset sailing is most likely to charm. Our captain and tour guide were very knowledgeable and entertaining. The sunset was the third cast member. What an enjoyable sightseeing cruise of Newport Harbor and some of Newport’s famous mansions from the water.

We had a great time on pur Sunset Cruise! We got some interesting information about the area and admired the views from the ocean. Highly reccomend while visiting Newport.
