What To Expect

Byzantine Church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary

Our partner will wait for you in the meeting point to provide all the necessary information about your ride and all the safety equipments, after that your amazing ride starts. First stop will be the 1000 years old Byzantine church which is built in the most panoramic spot of the city. The church with the amazing hagiographies and the historical background which goes way back to the centuries.

Meteora

Our partner after visiting the byzantine church will take you and help you to explore the unique area of Meteora. Your ride will include places that is not possible to be seen by car or larger groups as the hermit caves of Bandova and the small church Protato which is older than most of the monasteries. Then you will cycle among the giant rocks and you will have the opportunity to see all six still active monasteries of the area and also those that they are ruined in our days. After finishing all the historical sightseeing it is time for you to see the magnificent sunset on Meteora observation deck aka Sunset theater.

This tour was wonderful! I'm convinced now that e-bikes are the best way to see Meteora. We'd never ridden e-bikes before but it was very easy. Our guide Helena was wonderful and very informative about the different rock formations and monasteries we passed. The sunset was absolutely incredible. Chris at the shop also gave us excellent recommendations for where to go for dinner afterward! This tour couldn't have been any better and is well worth the price.

We had an amazing time on this tour. Helena was an excellent guide who explained all of the hosiery of the monasteries to us and provided very interesting back stories and legends. The views were amazing and the e-bikes made it so easy especially when riding uphill. I would definitely recommend this tour!

My son (16y.o.) and I had an amazing time on the e-bike tour. We had no experience with e-bikes before but had no issues. We felt safe the entire trip biking through the hills and windy roads of Meteora. Our guide was fantastic, providing unique perspectives throughout. If we are fortunate to return, we will definitely do this experience again.

Chris was a wonderful guide and knew the area well. My friend was scared of heights and he went above and beyond to help her and make her feel safe. The views were incredible and he catered the tour to us. One of the b at guides we have ever had!
