On this unique afternoon excursion in VW BEETLE Cabriolets, we combine fascinating impressions of the mountains on the west side of the island and unforgettable coastal driving fun in convertibles into the sunset. We pass through Soria, one of the largest mountain reservoirs in the Canary Islands and then live with us a rustic and unique Picnic in the children's dam. Then we continue to the spectacular viewpoint of "EL MULATO". Then through the idyllic mountain village of Mogán, past the famous windmill and the highlight PUERTO DE MOGAN, the port that is known as the "little Venice of Gran Canaria". Heading back through Amadores and Puerto Rico on the picturesque rugged west coast with the unique panoramic view of the Atlantic, we head to our last stop where we have the opportunity for a sensational sunset photo session.

5.00This was the absolute best experience of the whole holiday. We were picked up at 2pm by our guide Placido and taken to the office where, after some small amount of paperwork, we were introduced to our vehicles. Roofs were down, and after connecting Bluetooth, we were ready to rock and roll. We started the journey with a route through town and top the mountain to the Mirador Las Tirajanas where we got an amazing view of the walls of the Caldera. The mountain road was fairly easy to drive, we stayed in our order, and we stopped for a coffee half way up. The views on the way up, and at the top, were literally breathtaking. Our second leg was down the mountain via Falaga and, just after Falaga, we stopped at a view point for a great view of the valleys. Third leg, we drove to Puerto de Mogan for a quick walk around, before coming along the coast to Amadores where Placido laid out a small buffet of cheese, charcutrerie, coffee, juices, and a delicious cake. Here we watched the sun set and had a quick explore of the rocks. After out supper, we drove along the coast back to base, and were dropped back at our hotel for 8pm. I cannot speak highly enough of Placido and this is definitely great value for money and I strongly recommend.

5.00Plácido made the tour special, and showed us how to explore the mountains on narrow roads and have fun doing so! The sunset picnic was very romantic!

5.00The Cabrio Sunset Tour was really nice! The tour guide Alex was very sympathetic, very patient and always helpful. We immediately felt very comfortable. We saw a lot of Gran Canaria on the tour that we didn't know yet - just absolutely recommended! We would book again every time with the team!

5.00Second time doing this excursion and it was just as good if not better than last years. Our tour guide Manuel was excellent, showed us sites we’d not seen before and was very informative. If you’re interested in doing this tour I would highly recommend it especially if Manuel is working you won’t be disappointed.

5.00We booked the convertible tour. Our guide Isabella was great. Always made sure everyone was coming with us, waited above the traffic lights and took us to a wonderful spot for the sunset. We would book again at any time!

5.00We visited here in August with my wife, 2 daughters and parents. First time my father has ever been on holidays and he loved this tour. Got to see so much of Gran Canaria out the beaten track and our guide was fantastic. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to do something different. We visited aloe Vera farms and so much more. It got so hot at one stage we needed to put up the roof and turn on the Air conditioning in the car. But the tour itself is phenomenal and worth doing!
