Booked this trip a couple of hours before the departure, as I had some time to spare, which was effortless. The tour operator confirmed my booking within the hour. The tour itself is well worth it especially at the price point. Shout out to the tour guide, Pon, whose enthusiasm and charm added that little extra sparkle and he ensured everyone well tended and informed. Recommended.

Really enlightening about how people live on the Tonlé Sap Lake. We especially enjoyed the opportunity to visit with local schoolchildren and walk through the town, which you can only do during dry season (October-April). It was hard to believe that people lived this way and reminded us about many of the things we take for granted. The floating restaurant was interesting but not earth-shattering. Our guide (nicknamed Tom) was a local and very attentive. Bring cash for dinner.

This is a must do for Siem Reap. It's half a day for $21 and you see so much! Chout was my guide and he was very thorough in explaining the culture and pointing things out. Highly recommend!!
