The floating village of Kampong Phluk is located 31 kilometers east of Siem Reap, nestled among lush, often-flooded mangroves. Known for its distinctive stilt houses, this fishing village offers an ever-changing landscape due to Cambodia's wet and dry seasons.
During the rainy season (June to March ), the water level rises, and locals travel by boat. In the dry season,
some walking is required. On this small-group tour, you'll gain an up-close view of the unique lifestyle and culture of this Southeast Asian lake community. Please noted from March to June Dry season

Kampong Phluk Floating Village
At Kampong Phluk we hop in a boat and explore, taking in the beautiful waterways and charming houses on stilts. In dry season you'll be able to see the watermarks on the beams showing how high the waters rise, and in wet season you'll see the villagers and fishermen going about their business by boat.
Tonle Sap Lake
Going out on the Tonle Sap itself is a deeply calming experience thanks to the still waters meeting the horizon as far as you can see. We round off the day with a drink (and dinner, if you wish) at a traditional floating restaurant to watch the sun set over the lake.

5.00Poun is a great tour guys. I enjoyed the trip visiting the local village and canooing on the Tongle sap river. Enjoying dinner at the floating restaurant with sunset viewing . I love this tour . I would recommend anyone to try it while in Siem reap .

3.00I’ve seen other people have the same issue. The tour started wonderful. It was interesting to get a glimpse of local life. Then we got to one house where there was an older lady sat outside. The tour guide kept emphasising how poor she was and it just felt uncomfortable and inappropriate to be stopped watching her with people taking photos as he keeps saying how poor she is and how bad her quality of life is. We then were taken to an area and they said “if you want to support the community you should do this canoein” (which is an extra $6 pp). It felt like guilt tripping even though we had already paid for the tour. We chose not to do this and this is where things took a turn for the worst. We felt Tom immediately changed his tone towards us. and were taken to a restaurant and advertised as an alligator farm. There was one baby alligator in a barrel with very little water and no food. We were put in a position where we had to buy a drink (all $1.50 or above, which is quite expensive for Cambodia!!). We sat and waited for the group and reluctantly purchased a drink we didn’t really want or need. As we were drinking it, the tour guide sat next to me and insisted I left a good review and named him personally. I was having issues with connection and he took my phone to connect me to Wifi and asked to see my review before I posted. When I had completed it he even clicked post for me. At the start of the tour he was saying “your reviews are important because without them, I won’t have work tomorrow”. I would have happily left a review but I felt I couldn’t be honest as he was watching me write it and I felt very pressured and guilt trippy again!

5.00This was a very interesting tour and something we would never see or experience otherwise. Choit was Very informative and helpful. Go early in morning to avoid heat. Comfortable van.

5.00Everything was Perfect. Our Tourguide Mr. Tom is a local from the floating Villages, so he told us so much about how things work here. So friendly, so kind and sooo funny. Best guide we had so far and the Sunset was beautiful.

5.00Tom was a fantastic tour guide speaking very well in English and showing an authentic view of life on the Lake and showing village in dry season compared to wet when lake is high ..A ride in the boat then a canoe ride with local woman paddler and then watching sunset on the floating restraint .
