The floating village of Kampong Phluk is located 31 kilometers east of Siem Reap, nestled among lush, often-flooded mangroves. Known for its distinctive stilt houses, this fishing village offers an ever-changing landscape due to Cambodia's wet and dry seasons.
During the rainy season (June to March ), the water level rises, and locals travel by boat. In the dry season,
some walking is required. On this small-group tour, you'll gain an up-close view of the unique lifestyle and culture of this Southeast Asian lake community. Please noted from March to June Dry season

Kampong Phluk Floating Village
At Kampong Phluk we hop in a boat and explore, taking in the beautiful waterways and charming houses on stilts. In dry season you'll be able to see the watermarks on the beams showing how high the waters rise, and in wet season you'll see the villagers and fishermen going about their business by boat.
Tonle Sap Lake
Going out on the Tonle Sap itself is a deeply calming experience thanks to the still waters meeting the horizon as far as you can see. We round off the day with a drink (and dinner, if you wish) at a traditional floating restaurant to watch the sun set over the lake.

5.00Lovely afternoon visiting the floating village, seeing how the residents live on the houses on stilts. My guide Tom is a local from the village and is very knowledgeable, he tells a lot of interesting stories growing up and living there. We also went on a canoe tour through the mangroves and saw crocodiles. Can really recommend!

5.00Very fun experience. I wasn’t sure if I’d made the excursion, but I don’t regret it, I loved it. The village has shocked us, it is curious to see the constructions but the best thing is the kindness of the people. Ton has been an exceptional guide, very attentive and with good English.

5.00Tom's guide was amazing! It was an English tour, but they were quite good at Japanese. The tour is just a boat ride and requires little physical strength. When you are tired of Angkor Wat tour, we recommend you to join.

5.00My aunt and I had an amazing time touring the village and school with Mr. Chout! He ensured all children received the presents that we brought for the children of the village. I cannot recommend this tour enough. It’s purposeful and meaningful for the Cambodian people and makes you appreciate all the things you have in life.
