Meet us at our surf shop located inside hotel ONDA in Playa Grande approximately 10 minutes before your designated lesson time. We'll provide you with waterproof Zinc sunscreen, a long-sleeve rash-guard, a board tailored to your height and weight, leash, wax, and surf instructor. Once you're geared up, our instructor will lead you to the beach just a 3 minute walk away from our hotel. On the beach you will do a 15 minute popup practice to hone your form, before heading into the water to begin catching waves. The session is up to 2 hours with the option to end early if you are tired. We are an adaptive surf school! We have special surfboards for surfers with disabilities (including wheel chair users, visual impairment, and more). ** NOTE** If you do not have transport to the meeting point, we provide pickup and drop off for an additional charge.

5.00Coki was a brilliant instructor for our 3 kids. All of them first time but managed to stand up with smiles all round. The whole experience was brilliant! Great communication from the company via WhatsApp before to make plans, then on the day to confirm collection from our hotel and afterwards to check how things had gone.
We both got up on the board in 2 tries!! Had a BLAST! Highly recommend!

5.00Was both my bf and mine first time surfing and we had a BLAST! We booked through here and then were connected with Olivia. She was super responsive and helpful. Very flexible as well with our schedules and times etc. Morning/lesson was great! Javi (Javier) was our instructor, and I kid you not, both of us got up on the 2nd try! We met him at the ONDA hotel (super cute spot btw), had a quick coffee while he got all our stuff ready to go out. He had us put on some serious sunblock... I felt funny at first but then when I realized that what all the surfers do (and so did Javi), I felt like a real surfer haha. He walked us right out to the beach and got right to the "lesson" portion. He explained how to get up on the board, while we were still on land, went over a few safety things, and then we hit the water! He was so helpful each time I had to go back out... all 5ft of me, trying to battle a big board and waves. I would hop on, and he'd help me get through it! And then it would be 1...2...3... go!!! My boyfriend and I would take turns having Javi help us catch all the waves and he'd give a little instruction between each. These surf lessons are definitely physically taxing, so be prepared for a workout! It was so so so much fun though, and we each prob caught like 10-15 waves! I couldn't believe it. Both my boyfriend and I caught the bug and have been wanting to head out again ever since. If you get a chance, don't miss out on a surf lesson! You might even want another one the next day! Pura Vida!

5.00What an amazing experience! I purchased surfing lessons for my husband for Father’s Day because he has always wanted to try it. He had a blast! David was a phenomenal instructor and had my husband riding the waves in no time! The owners, Javi and Oli, were top-notch. Javi picked us up at our house, and he shared his knowledge of the various towns we passed through. Oli took us home, with her adorable dog, Maggie, and she gave us great recommendations for restaurants and sunset views. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and they even made sure I was taken care of. We will 100% be back! Pura Vida!
