Learn to surf away from the crowds of Waikiki in a more local surf break. My goal is to have customers catch the most waves possible and capture all the moments on provided GoPro cameras. This surfing lesson is unique as I limit it to just two students. This maximizes wave count and overall quality of the experience. Videos and pictures are included at no additional cost.

We will review basics of surfing, how a wave works, and surfing etiquette on the beach. After, we will hit the water and catch as many waves as we can. Action will be captured via GoPro and sent to students via email after editing. Enjoy surfing!

5.00Amazing experience. This was only my second lesson surfing but I learnt so much more and had such a great time. Michael made sure we got the best waves. The added bonus of the go pro videos made it even better and I received them in less than 24 hours. My group was no larger than 2 other people and we were in a really quiet area which was nice. We even got to see a turtle! And super thankful for the rash guard and reef shoes.

5.00Owner Mike was excellent, professional, friendly, and organized. Our surf instructor Ryo was personable and gave clear, effective instructions The location was great and not crowded. The provided reef shoes to protect against coral were a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend

5.00Our kids, ages 12 and 16, had a blast and now surfing is their new favorite hobby thanks to Mike and Ryo at Surfing Sensei! The GoPro video is awesome and we've watched it countless times to relive the fun. Our kids want to surf again next time we are in Oahu and we'll definitely book with Mike again.

5.00They offer their shirts and shoes so no need to stress about that! Was able to find parking at 9am on a Sunday-Barely. Early April and the water felt chilly at first but was just fine as we were working so hard. Everyone was able to stand up and surf a little! Salt water definitely clears out the sinuses. Need a lot of arm strength. Those out of shape will get tired. 2 instructors in the water and one was totally with our sn 12 yo who just laid on the board on his stomach the whole time. But the other instructor was fully able to help the other 4 of us and no one else was in our group. Loved it and so proud of us. Instructors were so nice!!!

5.00I booked a session with two kids and Michael knew what questions to ask to ensure we have the best experience learning surfing. He’s friendly and funny and made our session fun and memorable. And also loved the location where it wasn’t busy and waves were just right.

5.00Ryo was an excellent teacher. He was very patient and great to talk to. Everyone in our group was able to stand up on the board during the session. This was the perfect introduction to surfing, and I’m so happy we booked it. Added plus of it not being crowded and getting the GoPro footage. I highly recommend.

5.00Preeya was an amazing influence and instructor! She was so awesome! My daughter got right up and loved the whole experience! She went an rented a surfboard the next day and went surfing! The Go Pro videos we will cherish forever!

5.00John and Rio were fantastic! It was a beautiful day and they made it even better. Every member of our family got up on the surfboard under their instruction. They were patient (even with our younger boys) and were eager for us to learn as much as we could. It was the most fun we’ve EVER had! Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! TEN stars!

5.00Dude book!!! I travel solo and felt safe the entire time, the were very welcoming. I’ve even saw a sea turtle! He’s was so cute!!
