I have been a passionate surfer for already seven years with experience of giving private lessons and teaching in surf schools & surf camps. I offer surf lessons for all levels – Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.

Beginner/ Level 1 - 90 minutes: Learn the basics, like safe board handling, right paddling technique, and perfecting your pop-up, with feedback at the end. Intermediate/ Level 2 - 120 minutes: Refine your technique, learn to read waves, catch them at the right moment, and reach the line-up safely, with feedback to track your progress. Advanced/ Level 3 -120 minutes: Get insights on surf spots, channels, and risks, while practicing advanced maneuvers like cutbacks and snap turns or techniques that awakes your interest, with tailored feedback.

It was my first surf lesson and I felt super cared for. First the basics were explained on land and then we went into the water. My sister and I each had our own surf instructor who explained what was good and what was wrong after each time. After the 3. I was able to try surfing to the stand while standing. I would recommend it to anyone. It was a lot of fun. 😍

Apple is a super nice, fun and well experienced instructor, giving you a safe feeling in the water, with lots of patience and great tips! He’s very willing to help you reach the next level in surfing. His enthusiasm will have you catching waves in no time at all. Highly recommended

I had the best time! went from only being able to occasionally stand up in the white water to regularly standing on a long board in the bigger waves. Apple is super friendly and helpful, and gave a ton of feedback which i really appreciate. I can’t recommend him enough!

A genuine surf coach and a very friendly person with positive and high energy who I had the privilege of spending six lessons with. Starting of in the whitewater I manage to pop-up during my first sesh, much because of Apples constent feedback. He always made me feel safe in the water and a constant trying to make you evolve your surf. He deserves the absolut best recommendations and the reason I’m coming back to Weligama! //🍋
