  We had a private tour with Fabio and Marco for a multi generational family of 9. It was great- we had personal attention and preferences and the guides obliged every request we had. We saw all the sights and were treated to a lovely wine tasting. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly and definitely recommend the tour!

  What a day with our driver Romero. We booked this tour as a birthday gift for our mom and we had such a great time. Our tour guide Romero went above and beyond to make sure that we have explored all the West side of the island. Thank you for the lifetime memories.

  I cannot recommend this enough. This was my first time in Madeira and I have to say Romero and the Madeira surreal experience was 2nd to none. Collected at a local pre arranged point and time. Romero showed us everything there was to see on the west side of the island and returned us to our meeting point in Funchal. Romero was extremely courteous and very well informed about Madeira and carefully telling us the do's and don'ts while on the nature reserve s.   The tour was really great, above my expectations! It is well known that the nature and the sights in Madeira are perfect but Romero took it to another level - he gave us the context, the stories, interesting facts, the timing was perfect… All in all, I would definitely recommend.   If you’re debating whether to take a tour in Madeira—don’t hesitate! Having a local expert show us his island was amazing. What beautiful scenery. We did the West Tour and the views from Cabo Girão were breathtaking. Our guide was full of history and even took us to a hidden spot for wine tasting and an authentic Poncha away from the tourist crowds. We enjoyed delicious local seafood and saw so many wonderful spots. We only wished we had more time and hope to return! Thank you Maderia Surreal, and especially, our driver and newest friend, Romero! It was a pleasure, an eleven out of 10!!

  Great experience, not too much walking if not feeling up to it. Lot's of short stops at points of interest. The drive is "an experience" but felt very confident with the wonderful Romero as our driver. He was very informative and good fun to be with.

  Romero was amazing! He adapted our itinerary to accommodate the rainy day and substituted different stops for places we’d already been. Among our favorites were Miradouro dos Ilhéus da Ribeira da Janela and the fishing village at Camara de Lobos. He entertained our granddaughters (9 and 12) with his funny stories! The trip included plenty of time in several villages for food and exploring. Don’t hesitate to take this tour, and ask for Romero!

  We arranged a private tour with Romero for our first full day on the island and were very happy with our experience! Communication with Romero was fantastic both for scheduling the tour and throughout our tour day. He tailored the day to match our interests and shared interesting information about the island. It was such a treat to be driven from site to site without a care for directions or parking, and Romero was fun to chat with throughout the day. This tour was a wonderful introduction to Madeira and helped us to plan the rest of our time on the island when we were driving ourselves with a rental car. Thanks again for a wonderful day Romero! We will recommend you to any friends or family planning future trips to Madeira!

  Despite the rapidly changing weather, I had a great time enjoying the West part of Madeira. Our guide and driver Romero was amazing, looking after our group, providing plenty of information about all the spots and with positive vibes and sense of humour. Everything was perfect, easy and reliable communication with the organizer.
