Loved this wine tour! There were lots of participants in this group, and all were still able to fit comfortably on the old Routemaster bus. I'm not a morning person, and this tour starts bright and early, but having a tour that includes both stylish transportation and delicious lunch is hard to beat. Danny, the host, will reach out to accommodate guests' dietary restrictions beforehand to ensure there are no hiccups day-of. We visited 2 wineries -- Court Garden and Artellium -- and were provided generous tastings at each. The weather was sunny and warm, and any more than 2 winery visits / tastings would have bested us and our palates, especially when it comes to the acidity of English sparkling and white wines. After our vineyard orientation and 4 wine tasting at Court Garden, lunch was provided, and we were given picnic hampers, water, and glasses of wine to enjoy in the shade, the vineyard, or at outside tables. At both locations the vintners and blenders guided wine tastings, answering questions and guiding us through each of the wines we tasted. The cost for this tour is a bit pricey, in my view, but very worth it as a special treat, birthday gift, or pre-wedding celebration. I would love to take this tour again and visit other vineyards, and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in Sussex wines!

What an amazing day. I was initially unsure as quite pricy but if you work out what you get it's good value. 2 wine tastings at 2 vineyards, lunch, the London bus & driver, plus a Great British Wine Adventures guide. The second vineyard, (and they vary, but Bluebell for us), was far superior and we had an expected amount of wine. The first one was a bit tight and they completely missed the commercial opportunity to sell people a chilled bottle of wine with their lunch? They were distracted by a bigger tour from another company I think and even the shop seemed unmanned? Didn't affect the day it was just odd. We loved it. 9 out of 10 easily.

It must’ve been the hottest day of the year so far, but we were well looked after. Shade was on offer from the trees for the vineyard visit at Court Garden & also for the very acceptable lunch on offer. The homemade quiche, pates & cakes were delicious as were the many different wines on offer to sample. The talks from the wine experts were informative, friendly and unpretentious. Bluebell vineyard was also very welcoming with a variety of wines, still & sparkling on offer to taste. Because of the heat we were under cover sat in a barn mostly, which was a little restricting but understandable considering the circumstances. All things considered, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will happily recommend to others. Thank you

A trip bought by our sons to celebrate our ruby wedding anniversary. It was most enjoyable but would like to offer some constructive criticism so that others may enjoy an even more pleasurable experience. The meeting and greeting was not good . We were waiting around for about 20 minutes before the bus turned up followed by the guide at 9:30. Many of us were unsure whether we were in the right place. I think the guide should be there well before the stated time. There was no itinerary given. We went to Albourne Estate which was excellent, but according to your itinerary on the website we were expecting to go the Bluebell vinery with no explanation for the change. It was a very roundabout journey - was this due to the change of venue? For those not local perhaps a commentary would have been welcomed to point out notable places of interest etc. Both venues appeared to be caught on the hop with our arrival. Possibly due to the change of venue? Both venues gave out water to accompany the wine but it was not chilled. Considering the weather at the time this should not really happen. I was led to believe that a pub lunch was going to be offered. We had a pleasant ploughman’s like one at the first venue but for those who did not like cheese there was no alternative and therefore not enough food. At the second venue all the wines were poured out simultaneously. With the weather being so hot it was not long before the wines were not being experienced as they should . Some nibbles or similar would have been welcomed. The time here also seemed drawn out. Again possibly due to the change of venues? Most people would have liked to have had an afternoon tea after imbibing a number of glasses wine particularly seeing as we returned to the drop off point well over an hour before the posted time of 5.30. I hope this will help to improve a lovely day out and experience.

My first ever vineyard experience was fun and interesting. Lovely wine from Court Garden and a very pleasant lunch at Springs' Smokery in Edburton. The tour ended with a visit to Henry's Marani at Plumton College to learn about Georgian wine making which was very interesting. A very enjoyable day out.
