Start your day with pickup from Hongik University Station or Myeongdong Station.

Travel to Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Korea’s most important historical treasures. Explore the only remaining walled fortress in Korea.

Next, head to Suwon Hwaseong Haenggung, a restored Joseon-era palace within a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Enjoy traditional performances, including royal guard ceremonies and martial arts shows.

A perfect cultural day trip just an hour from Seoul!

Afterward, visit the Starfield Library, a modern library located in the Suwon Starfield COEX Mall. Admire the unique architecture and browse the extensive collection of books.

Next, head to the Gwangmyeong Cave, it is the largest themed cave park with varied cultural and artistic things, created in a gold mine where gold, silver, and bronze were mined. Visitors can experience wine at Wine Cave, as well as Cave Aqua world.

Finally, return to the meeting point in Seoul.

Great day starting at the fortress. So cool about the history. We then walked around a temple and got to see a Korean martial arts demonstration which was awesome. We were dropped off at the mall and got to see the Starfield library which is amazing but I only needed 5 minutes there. I had lunch and shopped. It was an awesome trip and would do it all over again if I could go on my own and spend more time!

Jeff was very interesting and knowledgeable. He took great care of the less mobile members of the group. He gave lots of opportunities to ask questions.
Simon is a very good guide who also gave us some nice info for the rest of our stay.

Thanks our tour guide Peter for carefully and thoroughly explaining the history of Suwon Hwaseong, as well as the construction process of Gwangmyeong Cave, and also preparing videos and photos to make it easier for us to integrate and understand, so that let us know more about South Korea. It is really a great tour!

The guide Peter explained in detail, the people were friendly and attentive, and the whole was a pleasant trip! Driving the driver is also smooth and safe, both guides and drivers are great!
