The experience was wonderful, the swamp tour was memorable, the plantation very relaxing, the guide very knowledgeable, the bus driver and very capable. However, we left the station much later than expected and the bus was very old and in very poor condition. The ride was bumpy and very uncomfortable. Only for these reasons I give a 3 to an otherwise excellent experience.

Great experience. All of it was very informative. The swamp boat is great for the whole family, the plantation tour probably not so fun for little kids as we seen a lot of them throwing fits and crying probably out of boredom because they’re just weren’t old enough to fully engage and understand . We had great tour guides on the swamp, in the Oak Ally Hose and on our bus. It’s a must do.

Our driver was Stacy, & our tour guide was Kate. We had a great day. It really is a full day trip but it’s fun. We went in December so crowd sizes weren’t too crazy. My girlfriend got to hold a baby alligator.

Guide was great on the bus,do not remember his name 😕. At the plantation make sure you attend the talk they give about slavery he was excellent. The guide we had for plantation house was rude and condescending! Not the tours fault. It was a day well spent. The guide at swamp was very entertaining!

The bus ride over there was full of information, however, I would suggest that longer breaks happen. Non -top talking for 90 min is too much. The walking tour of Oak Alley was awesome! I love old houses and their restaurant had a wonderful dish that we could share. You can walk as much as you want. The best part was the Swamp boat tour. The Operator would not allow the dog guest to board, since dogs attract alligators. I felt very well taken care of! We did see an alligator, even in the cold of Dec! The Boat Captain also brought a baby alligator on board for us to hold. We saw many animals and a few birds on this tour.

We had so much fun on this tour, which used up most of the day. The tour guide on the bus was very informative and the ride was interesting. The plantation was interesting, although the house wasn't that impressive by today's standards. The best was the talk at the slave quarters about their lives. The swamp tour was so much fun with Captain Tom! So many alligators, and they swim so fast! All in all, a great day.
