9am and 11am departure times tour Oak Alley Plantation and are 7 hours and 45 minutes in length returning to New Orleans at 4:45pm and 6:45pm respectively.
1pm departure time tours Destrehan Plantation and is 5 hours and 30 minutes in length returning to New Orleans at 6:30pm.

5.00A day trip that’s worth taking! The combination of the plantation and the swamp tour is great because they’re completely different expierences and don’t make the day feel so tiring. The plantation was beautiful though you are restrictred with the time and then during the swamp tour they made sure we saw lots of animals from up close. We just wish we had planned better in terms of bringing water and snacks because there isn’t a lot of time to sit and eat. It’s a long day because of the drive so that’s something to keep in mind.

3.00Oak Alley Plantation was fantastic! But the swamp tour is in a private swamp with them feeding marshmallows to raccoons and alegators. The plantation should be 5 stars, a d the swamp tour 1.

5.00Our hosts, Jane and Otis (driver) were amazing all day!! The plantation was gorgeous and the tour was very educational!! The swamp tour was truly the best I’ve been on, our captain was just amazing!!!

5.00Our Tour Guide John did an excellent job. The Live Oaks at Oak Alley are a spectacular sight. The staff and tour guides were well informed and very nice. The swamp boat tour was an adventure. It was fun getting to see the alligators so close. Our boat captain was funny and very brave!

5.00The swamp ride was excellent!!! We saw so many alligators, racoons and wild boars with babies!! They all loved the marshmallows and corn. We watched as Dustin fed the alligators with raw chicken and he was almost the meal!! We also got to hold a baby alligator-yes, it was live!

5.00Great experience. Excelent tour guide, very informative. The plantation visit provided a good insight on living conditions at he time. The swamp biatvride was a memorabke experience. Steongly recommend.

5.00Miss Kimberly made the bus ride to and from the venues interesting and fun! I would take this tour again just to listen to her. Oak Alley was an interesting representation of its era. Ethan was our boat driver/tour guide for the swamp tour, and I would say the same about him. He kept us entertained the entire time with alligators, turtles, boars, and many stories making me want to hunt Nutria rats at night. He also gave us a show with alligators which was fun.

5.00A good historical plantation tour followed by an amazing gator tour. Dustin did a great job showing us all the wildlife.
