9am and 11am departure times tour Oak Alley Plantation and are 7 hours and 45 minutes in length returning to New Orleans at 4:45pm and 6:45pm respectively.
1pm departure time tours Destrehan Plantation and is 5 hours and 30 minutes in length returning to New Orleans at 6:30pm.

5.00We had so much fun on this tour, which used up most of the day. The tour guide on the bus was very informative and the ride was interesting. The plantation was interesting, although the house wasn't that impressive by today's standards. The best was the talk at the slave quarters about their lives. The swamp tour was so much fun with Captain Tom! So many alligators, and they swim so fast! All in all, a great day.

5.00Very informative tour, with Kate as our tour guide. She was entertaining and knowledgeable. The Oak Ally Plantation was beautiful, and allowed a great glimpse into the past. The swamp tour portion was great as well. I would highly recommend this tour.

1.00I have no idea how the tour might have been. I bought tickets in August for November. My wife and I went up to who we thought would be our bus driver and were confirmed by name for her bus. We got to what we thought was our site and discovered it was the swamp tour only. They took us back to the start point by bus and offered us a jazz boat excursion plus the rest of our money back. Make sure before you get on the bus that they have you on the correct tour.

4.00It will be a long day, but it is worth the money and time. The swamp tour was very up close and personal. You will almost be face to face with the animals. The guide was very personable and knowledgeable. It was my first time visiting a plantation. The guide was knowledgeable and answered all questions. You’ll definitely get the feel of the time period as she is walking you through daily life of the people living and working there.

5.00Highly recommend this perfect combo your while visiting NOLA! Bus ride was quick, easy and entertaining. Plantation tour was very interesting (be sure to get a mint julep), swamp tour was the absolute best!!

5.00Oak Alley was amazing! Wish we had a little bit more time to listen to the gentleman talk about the slave quarters and the history. As it was we had time for the tour of the mansion, eat lunch, and do a quick 20 minute self tour before the bus left to go to the swamp tour. Swamp tour was decent, tour guide was a hoot! It was late in the day so not many animals out. Thats too be expected. However when we paid for this tour it said it was a fan boat ride and so we were disappointed that it was not a fan boat. Other than that it was fun and informative.
Learning about the Louisiana wildlife

5.00It was a very interesting tour of the Louisiana bayou, where we observed alligators, turtles, raccoons, wild boars, cormorants, and egrets. Holding the soft baby alligator was unique. We learned about the wildlife along the way.

3.00A lovely tour and a lot of history to go through. Excellent tour guides. Unfortunately the system on the bus meant that whenever the tour guide spoke no one else was allowed to speak as it would travel through the bus. This led to some people getting very upset with other passengers and I personally was harassed verbally by another passenger which the tour guides didn’t do anything about. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend the tour just based on that and go with a service that does a private experience. I had to endure that harassment all day and my elderly mother was very upset. The actual plantation and boat tours are great, just go find a different organiser.
