9am and 11am departure times tour Oak Alley Plantation and are 7 hours and 45 minutes in length returning to New Orleans at 4:45pm and 6:45pm respectively.
1pm departure time tours Destrehan Plantation and is 5 hours and 30 minutes in length returning to New Orleans at 6:30pm.

5.00Amazing tour on the purple boat! A true Louisiana swamp experience! I believe our captains name was Rick, but not sure. He entertained and educated at the same time as driving a boat. We saw lots of gators, pigs and raccoons, and a Blue Heron. The swamp was beautiful!

3.00Unfortunately, the Oak Alley tour was hard to understand because of the southern accent. The 20% we understood was interesting. The swamp tour was very entertaining. The captain Justin was fun to watch and listen. But we paid for both parts…

5.00Robert was one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. His knowledge on the subject of the swamp, the plantations and all things New Orleans/Louisiana was immense. Alton (spelling?) our driver was professional and kept us safe. The drive was comfortable and relaxing.

5.00My family and I really enjoyed this tour. We started with a walking tour of the Oak Alley Plantation. The big walkway with the Virgina love oaks made for some great photos. They had a cute little country store with lots of homemade treats and snacks. The cafe was nice too. Then we took a swamp boat tour of the bayou and saw lots of gators, mostly smaller ones as the big ones hibernate through the winter. We also saw lots of raccoons and feral pigs.

5.00Really good day out. The plantation was so informative and the guides were brilliant. The swamp tour was amazing and we saw so many alligators. We also had the pleasure of holding a baby gator. We would highly recommend as a day out.

5.00The tour bus was new and beautiful which made the ride to the different locations very easy. Our driver Melinda was great and our tour guide was very educated on the history of the plantation and the bayou. Oak Alley is gorgeous and every facility in the place is clean and nice. The swamp tour was so good and we saw many boar, raccoons and alligators. Great tour and highly recommend!!

5.00The swamp boat ride was incredible. Our captain was very entertaining and enthusiastic. He was so knowledgeable about all the wildlife we saw which included alligators, raccoons, wild pigs, fish and birds. I highly recommend this trip!!!

5.00GreyLine Tour with Jane and Robert Tour Guides were just a perfect Team who brought us to Oak Alley Plantations and Swamp Tour. It was informative with amazing stories. It was well organized as expected from the description. I fully recommend them if you want to hear old history of New Orleans, Plantations, Krokodiles :)
