The Swan Boats at Echo Park Lake are one of Los Angeles’ hidden gems. Don’t miss this unique way to explore Echo Lake signature lotus beds and fountain. All of our boats come equipped with shaded canopies for maximum comfort. Our large swan boats feature a roomy back seat for those that would like to forego pedaling and would prefer to just enjoy the view.

You are welcome to bring food and drinks on board the swan boats (no alcohol is permitted).

This is way a very nice experience, especially having a Picnic by the swans/geese! Good for the price make sure to make a reservation before you go in line. Or else you’re just waiting for nothing! Book your reservations now !

Husband and I took advantage of the beautiful weather and decided to try the swan boats. The building itself looks a little scruffy as did the check-in kiosk but the life jackets that you must wear were clean and reflected professionalism. Getting into the swan boat was a bit wobbly but the attendant was there with a strong arm. The paddle boat experience was wonderful. You sit close to the water and the ducks and cormorants don’t mind you. The lake is quite large and I guess you could get quite an exercise but we just paddled around the fountains of water. It was very pleasant and relaxing. We are 76 years old.

It was really nice to see the fountain up close in our little swan boat! We had a nice time going around the lake, but the steering on our swan was a bit busted, it only really turned left! Also the workers seem under paid bc they didnt seem that happy to be here. Come onnn, its 2026. They did a great job getting everyone in their boat. I hope they unionize or something.

It really nice!! me and my bf had so much fun it was an hour we went at night which was nice to see the swan boats all lit up. the boat holds a party of 5 too. if you wanna go as a family. it was a nice experience definitely recommend

Great activity for a date. Was out on the lake with a great weather and I had a good time admiring the LA skyline and nature of the park.

So much fun! We got on the lake super fast, had a great ride and the staff was super helpful. Great way to see the beautiful sights of the city, highly recommend

We were required to wear life jackets and they all fit perfectly and were cute. The swan navigating system was an easy to guide shifter and dual pedals. We enjoyed our experience.
