  It’s a really long day but so worth it! Easy hotel pick up on time. Dropped at the pick up point for the main coach. One other pick up then off to st moritz. Our guide Simone and driver davide were both great. Lots of info on the way, whilst in st moritz and during the train ride. How david’s got the bus around the hairpin bends I’ll never know. A must do experience! Even had a little surprise stop on the way back which was lovely.

  Very enjoyable day. Monica was the best and driver also very good.. The stay at St Moritz was a bit long as we did not choose to do any shopping or restaurants

  I did this tour as a solo traveler on my last day in Milan. Insider tip: if you are staying anywhere near the Milan Centrale train station, do not opt for the hotel pick up as I did. I was told to be in my lobby at 6:00 AM, was picked up at 6:30 AM, driven across the city to their main departure area where I waited a half hour outside, only to get on the bus and return to the train station at 7:30 AM for a pick up. I could’ve saved myself an hour and a half by walking to the train station spot myself. Also, please realize that the hotel pick up is only a morning transfer, and you will have to get yourself home on your own at 7:30 pm. Our group size was nice, less than 20 people, so our tour guide was able to keep us all together and keep us informed of important points along the way. She was, however very chatty with the bus driver and spoke to him pretty much the entire way there. On the way home, we were all very tired from a long day and early morning, and she used her personal cell phone for several calls at the front of the bus. It was very distracting and we were not able to rest on the way back. Overall, I really enjoyed the day and seeing a part of the world I had never seen. St. Moritz is a beautiful town, although mostly everything was closed because it’s considered the off-season.

  What an awesome experience. This was my wife and I first time in Italy and Switzerland…. What a great way to see it. The tour guide and bus driver were amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. It was well worth our time and money. I definitely recommend this tour.

• A waste of a vacation day

  The entire tour was A WASTED DAY! First, the bus ride was packed shoulder to shoulder and you can smell other’s s breath. We could have rented a car for the price and made the trip much more comfortable and on our own time table and shorter travel time. Second, the restaurant in St. Moritz that was recommended did not meet our expectations. Third, once we arrive to the station and got on the train, the car was full. My wife and I were not able to sit next to each other because it was first come first serve but this was not told ahead of time. The train car was reserved for our tour group however there were many other cars with ample empty seats which did not require seat reservation. We were stuck in our car again, shoulder to shoulder. Fourth, neither my wife nor I could see much from the train. Almost all the noteworthy sights were on the right side and we both were seated in the isle. With the people seated at the window standing up to take photos, our vote was completely obstructed. It was a 2.5 hour train ride for nothing basically. At the end of the day we sought a seat together and a little more comfort than the back row of the bus only to be told to go back to the seat we started with. We all paid the same for this trip, I don’t recall being asked to reserve the cheap seats. NEVER AGAIN!

  Make sure you are ready to go upon pick up if you’ve chosen the option; immediately get in line for the bus who’s waiting upon arrival at meeting point. People are waiting in line already as you arrive. The ride to Saint Moritz is 2.5 hours but will have ONE rest stop on the way. Upon arrival the tour guide will tell you the meeting point DO Not Miss this because we did but thankfully I had WhatsApp and company # and was able to contact them. Also, important to remember your guide name or even bus driver. Enjoy time your time because we certainly did and our ride on the Bernina train was amazing and unforgettable. We will definitely come again. A worthwhile trip. The train ended at Terrano and we were picked up by our bus for 2.5 hrs ride back to meeting place; Remember guide said use restroom because no stops on return trip and no drop off option so one must get taxi back to hotel upon arrival.
