Bus tour of highlights of Sydney and surrounding suburbs. We started and ended at Hyde Park, the oldest public parkland in Australia. Martin the tour guide did a very good job taking us around to numerous neighborhoods and telling us about everywhere we passed, even when forced into a detour. He had several anecdotes and also gave tons of advice on getting around on our own, like explaining the weekend fares. He was very good at herding his crowd back to the bus after each stop so we kept on schedule. Unfortunately even though we had great seats at the front of the bus, the rain streaked windows made photography a challenge. We had fun making comparisons to San Diego neighborhoods and beaches.

Very nice overview of Sydney in a short period of time. Let's you know where you might like to go back to. Driver gave alot of good information about each area. Where to eat and buy things.

Bus was over crowded. The driver was from Russia and had a very heavy accent and could only understand about 1/2 of what he was saying.
Get driver who speaks English for an English Tour

Driver/guide was for the most part unintelligible. Even though he had bus wide speakers his accent was so heavy the four persons in or group often could not understand. The sites visited were fine.

Guide was very well informed, pleasant and considerate. Some will complain about his accent, but I think he did an excellent job when you listened.

The tour was informative. The bus was to small, I had trouble getting my legs and knees in the seating area. The person behind me had their knees in my back. The driver was accommodating and spoke with a heavy accent, which made it hard to understand at times. The bus seating made it to uncomfortable to really enjoy the total trip.
