Please note: There are over 300 stairs on this tour, a moderate level of physical fitness is required to participate on the tour
Due to safety requirements - fully covered enclosed rubber soled shoes must be worn for the duration of the tour
Please meet your tour guide at the Sydney Opera House Stage Door at 6:45am - your tour will commence at 7:00am sharply. If you arrive late to the tour, your tour will be forfeited and a refund will not be available.
Venue access is subject to availability at the time of your tour and can change up until tour departure time.

5.00This tour is totally worth the price of a ticket! Great tour guide, Brent Bennett, knew the building inside and out. We got to get on stage, in the orchestra pit and all the backstage rooms. Breakfast at the end was delicious.

5.00A very interesting tour of the opera house. The actual tour is about 90 minutes. Breakfast follows. Seeing the sets, stages, fly bridges, etc was very informative. And we enjoyed learning the history of how it was built.

5.00It is an early morning but Sydney public transport is so easy to navigate with only a short work from Circular Quay. Amazing experience with fantastic people. Bruce the tour guide was amazing, knowledgeable and actually enjoyed the topic he was talking about. No additional fees on the day. Majority of the tour is completely prior to breakfast with a small continuation after. Lots of photo opportunities. 10/10.

5.00It is so worth getting up early to enjoy this guided tour!!! We are theater fans, not opera. We like to understand how things work, the engineering, logistics. This tour was a wonderful view of the challenges of putting on these complex performances and the history of the build. Our tour guide, from Canberra, an opera performer, (I'm not good at names), was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. After a nice braekfast, we easily made our 10:30 departure to the airport.

5.00This tour takes you all over the Opera House. There are back hallways, stairs, theaters, dressing rooms etc. You’ll hear fascinating history about the designing and building of the opera house. You’ll see the sets for current shows, the green room, giant stage lifts for scenery and sets.

5.00Excellent in-depth walk through of private behind-the-scenes details and public-facing impressive experiences at all the theatres, including the most famous Opera theatre and Concert theatre. Very impressive and educational. Well worth the money.
