Please note: There are over 300 stairs on this tour, a moderate level of physical fitness is required to participate on the tour
Due to safety requirements - fully covered enclosed rubber soled shoes must be worn for the duration of the tour
Please meet your tour guide at the Sydney Opera House Stage Door at 6:45am - your tour will commence at 7:00am sharply. If you arrive late to the tour, your tour will be forfeited and a refund will not be available.
Venue access is subject to availability at the time of your tour and can change up until tour departure time.

5.00This tour was an absolute delight, and Suanne was a fantastic tour guide! We got to go in the orchestra pit and on the stage of the Joan Sutherland Theatre, have breakfast in the green room, and see several other backstage areas. It was a theatre-lover's dream! Important to note, the description on TripAdvisor is not exactly correct, as there is no light breakfast/coffee served upon arrival, just the full sit-down breakfast at about 8:45am. So plan your morning accordingly! Wonderful tour and can't recommend it enough!!

5.00Fantastic! The perfect way to experience this iconic building - from its very soul, backstage and behind the scenes. Guide Michael did a superb job of keeping us safe, informed and entertained. DO THIS if you can fit it into your visit to one of the world’s greatest cities.

5.00Marcus , our tour guide, was great! He knew the Opera House inside and out. Had great knowledge of music, operas etc. My husband, who doesn’t enjoy those types of music loved the tour. And made a point to tell Macy’s!

5.00Our guide was very knowledgeable. It was really behind the scenes. We saw each venue and the backstage areas. We saw ballet costumes and the green room. We were able to stand at the conductor’s podium in the pit.

5.00It is as it says a behind the scenes tour. You learn about the different concert halls, you see costumes and decor. You go up into the rafters. You get details about the construction of the Opera House and much more.
