Situated on the foreshore of Sydney's magnificent harbour, Taronga Zoo Sydney has something for animal-lovers of all ages. This entry ticket provides general admission to the zoo. If you’re interested in seeing or learning about more of the wildlife. Activities such as limited keeper presentations, Seals for the Wild and Free Flight Birds are included in your ticket. A range of animal encounters can be booked on arrival at an additional cost.

Only a short 12 minute ferry ride from the city your day at Taronga Zoo Sydney includes our iconic Seals for the Wild and Free-Flight Bird Presentation as well as keeper talks. If you'd like a more up close and personal experience, you can pay for optional animal encounters with wildlife like koalas and giraffes. Providing picnic areas and various food and beverage options a day at Taronga Zoo Sydney is one that the whole family will enjoy.

The Taronga Zoo was amazing! We even got a close-up encounter with the koalas, which was unforgettable. One of the coolest things was being able to walk through some of the enclosures and feel really close to the animals. Highly recommend it if you want a fun, interactive day with incredible wildlife!

We had a lovely day to zoo. We went to the zoo by the James Cook ferry. Everyting went nice, we got tickets at the harbour.

Took the ferry from Circular Quay across to the Zoo on a Sunday. It’s a large site to walk around but what we really wanted to see were the Australian native animals of kangaroos, koalas, emus, wallaby’s etc which we did as well as red pandas, snakes, seals, birds etc. and indeed we did!! Overall a great way to spend a few hours in a nice environment.

Taronga Zoo was incredibly easy to access from Circular Quay – the ferry ride over was quick, smooth, and added to the experience with beautiful harbour views. The zoo grounds were clean, well-maintained, and you could really tell the animals were well cared for, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The bird show was absolutely fantastic and a definite must-see – the views during the show were incredible too! The seal show was equally brilliant, full of energy and great fun to watch. I was also pleasantly surprised at how well shaded the paths and viewing areas were, making it very comfortable to walk around even under the sun. Overall, a brilliant day out and would highly recommend!

The zoo is huge, full of animals and, if you download the app, you can locate yourself to not lose anything, without having to pay for a guide. I suggest booking about 5 hours for the tour.
Venue is an A+ and 5 stars and so is the overall experience.

Great zoo and an awesome way to spend a day in Sydney. Kids love it. Grownups feel like kids again. Definitely ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ‼️

Highly recommend this zoo , the ferry and bird show were a highlight. Allow at least half a day as it was quite a large zoo and arrive early before it gets hot.

This is an outstanding zoo in a beautiful spot. Most exhibits were clear to see and facilities were great with good food options. The zoo map could do a better job of showing where the playground is because there’s one quite big play area and a couple of others that really have nothing in them, and it’s impossible to tell which is which from the map.
