A very soggy time moving around the zoo today. Despite this crowds were very low only. Animals mostly hiding in warm spots. A few parts were closed off for maintenance. Despite that all a lovely way to spend a morning investigating wild life and animals from around the world. Well worth a visit.

Getting there was super easy. We took the light rail from our hotel to Circular Quay and took the ferry over. There were multiple free buses that take you to the zoo. We took the bus back, it took longer but was easiest after a long day. We brought lunch to eat and many people did the same. Loved the zoo but many of the animals were not active and sleeping. Be ready to walk a lot.

The zoo experience was amazing. So many animals to see. As first time visitors to Australia, we wanted to see the Australian animals and this zoo did not disappoint.
