Join us on this half day tour to visit Szentendre that is also called as the southern gate of the Danube Bend. Explore the Mediterranean atmosphere in this charming town with professional guide.
Then, climb aboard one of the scheduled public boats to cruise back to Budapest at leisure.
The boat operates only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, between 1st May - 27th September. The arrival dock where the our ends is located in Budapest city center.
On Tuesdays, you will always come back to Budapest by bus.

Szentendre
Take a refreshing break from bustling Budapest into the charmingly relaxed artists’ town of Szentendre. Take a look at the open-air exhibition of young Hungarian artists, then wander along the twisting, cobblestone alleys, soak up the Mediterranean atmosphere in an outdoor cafe, or bargain for souvenirs in a tiny boutique. Climb the churchhill for stunning views of colourful rooftops nestled along the river. Marvel at the life- size marzipan sculpture of Lady Diana in the Marzipan Museum. The tour ends in the city centre.

5.00Despite the poor weather (which nobody can control) we had a lovely trip with Ingrid from EURama tours. The tour flowed really well and Ingrid gave a good running commentary during the journey from Budapest to Szentandre. Although Szentandre was a little quiet Ingrid gave us a good tour of this interesting little town. The tour group was a total of 4 in a minivan

3.00Online description say you go to the hilltop at the Visegrad fortress to take pictures of the Danube Bend. Tour guide said that was not included in the tour and had printed brochure that did not include it. If you’re going to accept online orders you should honor that itinerary you post online! Charged and paid for something we didn’t receive.
A short afternoon trip to Szentendre!

4.00Our guide Krisztina was very nice and knowledgeable. We went North of Budapest to St Andrews/Szentendre; a beautiful colourful artist village, with small local shops, cafes and cobbled paths. The return journey was via boat down the Danube. A nice alternative to Budapest.
