  This has been one of my most memorable holidays! I joined a 5-day cycling tour through the stunning Alentejo region of Portugal, and it exceeded all expectations. A huge thank you to Nibs, Jackie, and Mauro for organizing such a seamless and well-planned trip. The food was incredible, the countryside was beautifully clean and peaceful, and Nibs’ vast knowledge of the history and culture of every place we visited made the experience truly special. The accommodation was far better than I imagined, comfortable, charming, and perfectly located. Thank you again for an unforgettable adventure. I’ll definitely be back with my children and grandchildren in the not-too-distant future!

  What a wonderful way to see this part of the Lisbon coast. Easy ride with lots of history and beauty. Great traditional lunch, Nibs and Jackie are great hosts.

  Thank you Nibs and Jackie for an outstanding cycle tour . We were a group of 10 riders from SA that toured through the villages of Portugal for 5 days , started in Evora. Nibs knows so much of the history of Portugal and Jax spoiled us with waterpoints and snacks all the way. They are excellent hosts and a great team! We can recommend this tour to anyone who likes a personal touch , new friendships and a stunning experience. We will do this again anyday!!   This outing was precented by a 5 day cycle trip through Alentejo with Vera Cruz that deserve a separate raving review. The Targus day trip was wonderful and Nibs, Jackie and Mauro are very capable professional and caring guides. Well worth spending the day cycling this route. Thanks Vera Cruz

  What an amazing cycle tour through the Alentejo region of Portugal! (+/- 240km over 5 days) Everything was so well planned and organised by the Vera Cruz team. Bikes were of a high standard, accommodation was very clean and comfortable and routes were amazing! Will definitely do another tour with them.

  Had a wonderful day cruising along the coast of Lisbon. Got to see many historical sites including a very secluded royal palace garden. Stopped for an amazing Portuguese lunch with delicious wine. The best part of the tour is getting to spend the day with the very knowledgeable and friendly tour guides Nibs and Jackie. Would highly recommended this tour while visiting Lisbon.

  Nibs and Jackie were absolutely wonderful! We were stressed as we were running a few minutes late due to traffic, but were met with big, warm, welcoming smiles! They stopped us at all of the “must see” monuments, parks, etc. and were well informed on the history of each. We had a delicious traditional Portuguese lunch in a quaint park off the coast. After lunch, Nibs surprised my sister-in-law with a delicious chocolate cake from a local spot to celebrate her birthday! It was just the sweetest gesture and was so thoughtful! We ended the day in peaceful historic park with vibrant flowers. It was a beautiful day and Nibs and Jackie’s hospitality made this a top tier excursion! The customized video of all our spots was an added bonus! A must-do if visiting Lisbon! Thank y’all again for such a fantastic day!   We had a great day with Nibs, leasurely cycling along the beautiful coastline of the Tagus River, enjoying the touristic landmarks on the way and Nibs splendid historical knowledge about them! Although we had travelled this coastline before, riding on a bicycle offers you quite a new perspective. And everybody who knows how to ride a bicycle is able to enjoy this trip! It is very easy-going on mostly flat-out cycling paths, the bicycles are comfy and Nibs is the best and most warm-hearted guide you can wish for. Generally we don’t enjoy eating big lunches, so Nibs took us to his favorite café/pastelaria in Paco de Arcos instead, where we enjoyed freshly squeezed orange juice, galao, pastel de nata and a giant sandwich (so much for “we don’t enjoy big lunches”;-)). If you are interested in music you are in for a special treat chatting with Nibs about…well, all types of music! Conclusion: go for it – it’s great fun!

  I had an incredible cycle tour with Nibs, the most fun and knowledgeable guide I’ve ever met. We explored stunning historical landmarks and gardens, learning fascinating details along the way.   A fantastic day out. Easy riding and a most enjoyable way to take in key sites along the Tagus. Very well led by the knowledgable Nibs. An excellent lunch in a typical Portuguese local restaurant included.
