Besides the careful way of teaching, the explanation is very easy to understand because it is done while looking at a large monitor. Also, since the instructors are professional, I really like the fact that when it comes to practical skills, you can feel their seriousness. It is close to the NPM and I would like to go again.

I went into this workshop already knowing some Chinese but Ginn really expanded upon my knowledge base! Apart from being a knowledgeable instructor, she’s also very patient and overall lovely. She took my interests into account, and the tea served as delicious. It was a great, relaxing way to spend a rainy Taipei afternoon.

We learnt the history of Chinese calligraphy which has thounsabds of years history. Firstly, we went through different styles of the Chinese calligraphy. Secondly, we trained calligraphy writing. Lastly, we made our masterpiece. Nice and eyes opening experience.

This course was phenomenal! My group was entirely inexperienced with Chinese and calligraphy but loved learning about the different styles and history from the lecture and had so much fun practicing with all of Theresa’s exercises (she’s a spectacular teacher) ! Her aids Tom Michael and Jin were also so kind, supportive, and informative! We each got to take home a scroll we wrote a message on as well! Great for all ages

In a beautiful, filled with Chinese paintings, calligraphy and artefacts, we spent more than 2 magic hour. Teresa is very gentle, positive and welcoming. She shares the knowledge of calligraphy with clarity and generosity. We were offered tea, and were encouraged to try the strokes with the brush. Then we got to create our own roll, with a meaningful writing on it. We loved every minute of the workshop and would like to continue.

I don't consider myself very artistic, but this class was very good. Teresa was a very good and patient instructor. Glad she does these classes as it was a good time!

Lovely experience. Teresa was excellent, my partner and I had such a fun and informative calligraphy class. She is so knowledgeable and patient to teach us total beginners. Loved every sec of it and wish it was longer. Highly recommend to take a class with Teresa.

Was looking for a calligraphy session while visiting Taipei. Glad I found this workshop. Appreciated learning about the history and evolution of, how to properly hold the brush, technique, etc…. From one teacher to another - thank you again Teresa for a wonderful afternoon!

If you ever wanted to know more about calligraphy, this is definitely the place to go. One of the best courses I've ever been to. The teacher was so kind and enthusiastic, and I loved the small history lesson. Huge recommendation!
