Shifen Old Street

Meet your tour guide at MRT Xingtian Temple Station, then head off Pingxi. Shifen Old Street is the largest and busiest old street on the Pingxi Railway line, it's famous for setting of sky lantern. Here one can enjoy delicious food, beautiful scenery, and learn about the mining history of the area.

Golden Waterfall

Golden Waterfall is a ledge waterfall. The rock formations on both sides of the waterfall go against the flow of the water, which is a geological feature called the anticline structure. The majestic stream splashes as it rushes into the extremely deep pool below the waterfall. As the sun shines on the mist, a rainbow can be seen hanging over the waterfall or pool.

Kevin was on time and spoke excellent English. Took us a a very informative tour of our locations and even more. Would recommend him again.
Worth it! Good experience and back to spend second half day in Taipei.

Our driver and guide, Williams, was really good. The time spent was just right, not too long in the quick spots and we got to see the Shiffen old Street and release a lantern, tour town just a bit and buy some souvenirs,. We then headed off to the golden waterfalls and Jiufen old Street with enough time to eat lunch and look around. Not too long and not too short. His driving was very safe as well. We’d recommend.
