Taipei
Taipei isn’t just a city; it is a 24-hour, steam-venting, neon-soaked fever dream that lives and breathes through its stomach. Our evening feasting tour of 12+ tastings invites guests on a culinary experience around the backstreets of Taipei led by our team of professional foodie guides. Before we get started, our tour reflects the local cuisine and the limitations of street food vendors means we unfortunately cannot cater for every dietary restriction. Here's an honest appraisal for the tour so no-one is disappointed: ✖️ Vegetarians have 4-5 less tastings due to limited alternatives at some vendors. ✓ Gluten is used in 2-3 tastings, mild gluten intolerances won't go hungry, but we advise against ✖️ celiac disease, as there are traces of gluten in 3-4 further tastings with unavoidable soy sauce. ✖️ Unsuitable for severe allergies and halal diets due to risk of traces and cross-contamination. If you are feeling adventurous for a foodie journey, read on!
Huaxi street Night Market
We begin at the ornate Lungshan Temple - a sanctuary where the incense smoke of a thousand prayers meets the vibrant Huaxi Street Night Market. We’re hunting a Michelin-rated plate of lǔ ròu fàn braised pork rice - a bowl of unadulterated comfort that has anchored this neighborhood for generations. This small island has a big appetite, and there are 15+ tastings in total along the route. We’ll discover Taiwanese Scallion Pancake, shattered and flaky from the oil, and the legendary gua bao "Taiwanese Hamburger" - a pillowy steamed bun stuffed with pork belly that’s been braised into submission.
12+ food tastings included, more than any other Taipei food tour

Tiffany was such a great tour guide and there was a wide variety and a ton of food! I'm vegetarian and she did a great job making sure I had enough to eat! We also enjoyed learning so much about Taipei and the culture in addition to the food! Highly recommend!!

I booked a street food tour in Taipei with Taipei Eats — the same company I used in Bangkok — and once again, they delivered. This tour is perfect if you want to experience authentic local food without guessing where to go. One of the highlights was stopping at Wang’s Broth, a Michelin Bib Gourmand spot known for its lu rou fan. Rich, flavorful, and exactly what you expect from a place with that level of recognition. We also visited another local favorite that specializes in gua bao, and it did not disappoint. Soft buns, well-balanced fillings, and packed with flavor. What I like about this company is consistency — same high-quality experience I had in Bangkok. Well organized, great food stops, and a smooth flow from one place to another. If you want to explore Taipei’s street food scene the right way, this is an easy recommendation.

I did the tour with Huck and we had a great time! It is very hard to hit up so many spots and try to eat everything you want to on a solo trip, but this tour allowed me to try 12 different things by being able to share them. It was also nice because I didn’t have time do a lot of research, so Huck had that completely taken care of for us. I left with a full tummy and meet some great people. Would absolutely do it again.

Tiffany was a great tour guide. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and had a lot of great recommendations for where to get the best bites in Taipei. We’ve been on other food tours across the world and this was one of the best because of how great the food was throughout. Come hungry because it’s a lot of food!
