YehLiu Geopark
Yehlu Geopark is one of the premier destinations in northern Taiwan, is home to a number of unique geological formations including the iconic "Queen's Head" and is located along a cape stretching out from the town of Wanli. Duration: ~1.5 hours Start your tour at Yehliu Geopark, known for its unique rock formations created by sea erosion. The most famous rock is the Queen’s Head, which resembles the profile of a queen. Other notable formations include the Fairy Shoe and Elephant Rock. Things to Do: Explore the coastal views, take photos of the rock formations, and walk along the trails in the park.

Zhenbin Port Color Houses Duration: ~30 minutes Next, visit Zhenbin Port, a small fishing village famous for its Colorful Houses. These brightly painted buildings along the harbor make for great photo opportunities with a seaside backdrop. The colors represent the lively spirit of the town and bring vibrancy to the old fishing port . Things to Do: Walk along the waterfront, take pictures of the colorful houses, and enjoy the local harbor atmosphere.

5.00Ms Huang was an executives and assistant She could not fluent English but she had used translation to communicate very well She was so considerate that she got wheelchair for my wife and took her all the way to Shifen waterfalls. She keeps everything in her car to help you for your routine needs

5.00Novio was a great tour guide and driver. He knew the secret parking spots that was convenient for us to see the sights without the crowds. He was accommodating with our requests for restaurants and adjusting our itinerary to our preferences. He did not speak a lot of English but we were able to communicate through Google translate. Always on time to pick us up from each location and an amazing photographer! We will cherish the picture perfect photos! Overall, a great value and we had a fun tour of northern Taiwan.

5.00Highly recommended experience with Taiwan TST - Our tour operator Maggio customised our trip based on the weather. Which was so personally managed and as a result we ended up booking 2 extra tours with them as the service was exceptional. Our Driver Mr Xie is the best - he ended up playing all my fav playlists also and drove us around tirelessly for 2 days. Big THANK YOU

5.00Had a nice time visiting Yehliu, Shifen, Jiufen with this company. Maggio Chen was awesome with the tour organization from start to finish. Our driver Ben was super helpful as he navigated the bustling streets in Jiufen with us. He took amazing photos throughout the day. He also made sure we tried the must haves for the area. Ben even went out of his way to buy us some stinky tofu and fish floss. I would definitely visit again with this group.

5.00We had one full day in Taipei before starting our cruise. This trip offered the best bits of the area all in one go and the price was very good as well. The itinerary suggested there could be four passengers in the car, but there was just the two of us which was good. Our Guide for the day was Johnson (photo attached). His English was very good, and he explained things very well. He picked us up from our hotel exactly on time and let us spend as much time as we wanted at each attraction. There were many highlights of the tour and it was great having a local guide us especially when we visited Shifen Old Street. There were many street food stalls and we would never had tried anything on our own, but Johnson persuaded us to buy some stuffed chicken legs and he bought us some peanut ice cream. Both of which were great. The last place to visit was Chlufen (Jlufen Old Street). By this time is was almost dark. What a brilliant place to see, especially at night. Hundreds of local stalls selling everything you could imagine. Again much street food and we were offered tastings of everything. Again, on our own we wouldn't have tried, but with Johnson's encouragement, we had a go at everything (although never bought anything). Some was great, some not so, but enormous fun trying them out. An exhausting day, but we shall never forget our trip in Taipei. It was actually the best day of our three weeks in Asia.

4.00Great tour - had plenty of time at Jiufen shopping area and loved the Geopark. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see Shiufen waterfall because it was closed.

Jiufen is definitely worth a visit if you are in Taipei and have an extra day.

5.00Indeed a full day’s worth of activities, suitable for both adults and kids. Leo was thoughtful helping to watch out for my little girl and even surprising us with buying a famous local dessert while we were having dinner (it would otherwise have been a little too far away to pop in to with my girl in tow).
