What To Expect

YehLiu Geopark

Yehlu Geopark is one of the premier destinations in northern Taiwan, is home to a number of unique geological formations including the iconic "Queen's Head" and is located along a cape stretching out from the town of Wanli. Duration: ~1.5 hours Start your tour at Yehliu Geopark, known for its unique rock formations created by sea erosion. The most famous rock is the Queen’s Head, which resembles the profile of a queen. Other notable formations include the Fairy Shoe and Elephant Rock. Things to Do: Explore the coastal views, take photos of the rock formations, and walk along the trails in the park.

Zhenbin Port Color Houses Duration: ~30 minutes Next, visit Zhenbin Port, a small fishing village famous for its Colorful Houses. These brightly painted buildings along the harbor make for great photo opportunities with a seaside backdrop. The colors represent the lively spirit of the town and bring vibrancy to the old fishing port . Things to Do: Walk along the waterfront, take pictures of the colorful houses, and enjoy the local harbor atmosphere.

Charlie was great! This day was thorough! Lots of site seeing, plenty of time to wander solo, and take pictures! Was our favorite tour by far! Only feedback would be for the price of the tour the admission to the rock formations should be covered.

The places we visited were very touristy but beautiful and unusual. The Shifen waterfall is stunning, the geopark as well. Gary was great, always helpful, considerate and patient. Highly recommend the driver and the tour

Getting a personal driver at port is the way to see more on your cruise. Perhaps similar cost but we doubled what we could see on the cruise excursion. Our driver “Johnson” was knowledgeable and eager to please. He did a great job in adding colorful extras to our visits. He was also great at taking pictures. Thanks for the great tour!

We travelled in a private car with Tony. We had a really great time: a few smaller places was included and when we did not want to visit the Shifen Waterfalls due to crowds, Tony was very accomodating and took us to light lanterns instead. Everything was organised efficiently, pre tour communication was excellent.
