This is a private transfer. In the vehicle only the same group/couple/family will be. During the journey to/from Taman Negara, driver will stop for petrol twice and traveler can ask for stop (take 5). Journey took 4 to 5 hours from city center. 5.00We were three women on holiday in Malaysia. We had organized the trip alone and needed a driver. We were lucky enough to meet Mikael who, in addition to acting as our driver, advised us very well on our travels, even modifying the routes. Kind and helpful person. A driver to recommend. 5.00We spent 6 days with Mikael exploring the surrounds of Kuala Lumpur. He picked us (family of 6: 2 small children, 2 seniors and my husband and I) in Malaka and brought us to our apartment in KL. He organized a car seat for our 2 year old as well. A couple of days later he brought us to Kuala Selangor to visit the fireflies (booked the boat for us using his local discount), stopping at the Batu Caves and Silvertailed monkeys along the way. He actually watched our sleeping 2 year old for us while we climbed the steps to the Batu caves. He was so generous, knowledgeable and welcoming and even treated our entire family to dinner after the boat ride: local specialty of Roti Canai. So delicious! I've never had a tour guide buy us dinner before!!! We then took a 4D3N trip with Mikael, visititing the elephant sanctuary, 2 nights in Taman Negara and 1N in the Cameron Highlands. He recommended places to go for Steamboat dinners and strawberry picking and really went above and beyond every single time - even buying chocolates for the kids one morning. The real way to their hearts :). The van was very spacious, with lots of room for the 6 of us and all our luggage (we were not traveling light) and even had a screen for the kids to watch YouTube on when the driving got too much for them. I could not recommend Mikael more, we had a wonderful time and Mikael was eveything you could ask for, and more, in a driver and tour guide. Super reasonable prices too. If you are considering any tours/trips, pick Mikael you won't regret it.
