Most of the time we start our tours in our office located in El Tunco beach, however, if you are not in the area, free pick up is available in La Libertad area or in San Salvador city.
Tamanique Waterfalls
We drive for about 25 minutes to get to the beautiful town of Tamanique, from here we start the hike downhills. 20 minutes later we find the very first waterfalls and start jumping/swimming.

5.00The waterfalls were amazing. We went early in the morning and our group loved it. Loved jumping off into the waterfalls and the water was very refreshing. Pablo our guide spoke English. The highlight of the day was Pablo. He was very patient and kind and made this a true five star experience for our family. I would definitely request Pablo for your guide for any of the trips they offer. I believe he does surf trips as well.

5.00This tour and hike was absolutely one of, if not the best thing we did on our trip. Salva our guide was amazing, giving us history on Tamanique and history about El Salvador. He really knows his history and it’s just amazing to learn from him. We even got picked up right by our hotel and dropped off too. We got to jump in 3 different waterfalls and swim in 4 different pool areas. Salva even jumped in the water with us too. He took pictures and videos of us jumping. He really just made this tour amazing. We booked our tour online, and communicated through WhatsApp. Salva was very responsive and communicated with us just about anytime we had questions or if they were running late due to traffic. I would 100% recommend booking your tour here, you will have the best time!

5.00This was one of the best hikes that I have ever been on. Salva was an amazing guide and an overall wonderful person! I would recommend this for anyone wanting to experience a once in a lifetime hike!

5.00Thanks to Chamba the group enjoyed the experience as if we were a group of friends and not unknown tourists. He explained several things about the region and worried whenever we were at ease. Also gave us time to have dinner together and enjoy a night in the tunco with live music:) I recommend the experience 10000%

5.00Our experience doing a private tour with Pablo was great! He was very kind and informative. He made sure everyone on the trail was safe and was having fun! He also gave us some good recommendations on where to eat! He was our guide for Tamanique and Santa Ana and we highly recommend this tour!

5.00The hike is a little challenging, but absolutely doable. The trail is well worth the effort. Reaching the waterfall to cool off in the refreshing water makes all the hard work completely worthwhile. Chamba is a great tourguide!
